Dragoncon is home to DragonBowl 2003, THE annual southeastern Blood Bowl tournament! Sponsored by The Skeleton Crew (the Northwest Florida Gaming Association), the 2003 DragonBowl is a Resurrection-style NAF sanctioned event that was held for the first time at Dragoncon 2002 (if you aren't a member of the NAF, go to www.bloodbowl.net for more information). Coaches will play a total of 4 games, two each on Friday and Saturday. The cost of the tournament is FREE to members of the NAF, and is $10 to all others (which will cover membership in the NAF), with the results being posted on the NAF website. Teams should be created as normal using the 2003 BB Rules Review, and Star Players and wizards are not allowed. Boards and counters will be provided, but players should bring their own if possible to allow for additional players. Last year, coaches came from as far away as Ireland to take part, so be sure and register early! For any additional questions, please contact Jason Driver at fsufan5@cox.net. For information on Dragoncon, please visit www.dragoncon.org

Would it be possible to re-schedule this tournament for Saturday and Sunday? Holding two of the matches on Friday more or less preclude any out-of-state people from coming unless they take time off from work on Friday to drive. For instance, I could probably convince a handful of coaches to drive down with me from North Carolina on a Friday night to be ready for games on Saturday, but no way we'd be able to all schedule the time off for a drive during the day on Friday.

Is there a fee that we need to pay in order to get into the tournament as well, or is it just the 10 bucks/NAF membership?
