In the newest White Dwarf, #329, on page 119 they say that on October 27-28 all US Battle Bunker locations (not Chicago since they have Chaos Cup 9/22-9/23) will host a Blood Bowl tournament.
These locations are:
Seatlle Battle Bunker - Bellevue, WA
Los Angeles Battle Bunker - Westminster, CA
Memphis World of Battle - Memphis, TN
Baltimore Battle Bunker - Glen Burnie, MD
I have not read anything online about these tournaments. Are these GW events not affiliated with the NAF? If so, I could easily see people showing up and the event not occuring. |

I believe they will have them. At the Glen Burnie location they will be starting a league in about six weeks, which I will hopefully be joining. If they are going to run leagues why wouldn't they have a tournament. It also seems pretty official since they published it, and not in tiny print. I will, however, ask the staff at the Baltimore store when I stop by this monday evening just to be sure. |

Sorry for sounding negative. I just can speak for the Chicago bunker near my house and until Tom took over the Chaos Cup, they had no idea what was going on! |

I forgot to ask about the tournement when I was at the Baltimore store yesterday. Since the employee working told me they were still making Warhammer Quest when I asked him last year I don't think he would have had much reliable info anyway. I will write myself a note and put it in my wallet so that the next time I see one of the managers I will be sure to ask. |

Did some stores get "demoted"? I recall the Philadelphia store being a bunker, albeit a sad excuse for a bunker comparatively, but it was still referred to as a bunker. I will have to contact them and see what their story is... |

I heard Philly had a bunker as well. I just took that info from the White Dwarf and those were the only locations listed. I just figured the store wasn't there anymore. |

Store is still there, but according to White Dwarf, you're right, there are only 5 bunkers now...oh well, guess that half hour drive to philly became a few hours to Balt... |

Well up at the Seattle Bunker we are a go. We have a strong league at the bunker pluss some other ones starting up at the other GW stores.
Our League commish is working with the manager (jim) at the Bunker so it will go with out a hitch (or a major one at least) |

Whoever is in charge of each one needs to get them entered into the NAF site so they can be sanctioned. |

Well I asked yesterday at the Baltimore store and the guy said they would be having the tournement. Unfortunatley he didn't sound that pleased to be talking about Blood Bowl so we'll see what happens when the date comes closer. Oh there is no regular league, much to my dissapointment, at this store either. Another bad sign is that they did not restock the game after I purchased my copy and one other copy that was there was sold. |
