I'm sure it's been mentioned here at some point, but just to be on the safe side I'll toss in this reminder.

Any U.S. coach looking to travel north BY AIR to the land of the Canucks will NEED a passport to get over the border and back. A valid drivers license is no longer acceptable.

Travel by land does not require a passport until 1/1/08. But, just a thought, get one now before some hot tournment gets scheduled in Nov to be held in January of '08 and you can't get your passport in time.

AVOID THE RUSH! Get one now!

Just to make sure that everybody understands, the same rules apply for Canadians going to the US by air.

Passport requests have increased significantly in Canada. So if you plan to go to the US, make your request way in advance, in case there are delays.
