This year the Challenge of Q'ermitt is honouring the defending champions The Dwarf Giant who were the winners in Q'ermitt I and II (but sadly absent for Q'ermitt III).
Here is the Dwarf Pitch:
This is the turn marker and rerolls:
The Dugouts - including the Hall of Heroes for those fallen in the field of Blood Bowl!
The score counters with real working gears:
A close-up of one of the marblized pillars:
In true fashion of my boards, it is build to be transportable - here it is in it's "naked" state:

Wow! Can't wait to see what the Dark Elf pitch will look like. |

Very very cool!
Were did the pilars come from?
How about the "working gears", can you actualy change the score by turning them? Cool...
Just an extra something, I might paint something in the center of the pitch (line of scrimmage area) related either to the Dwarf Giants team, or just some generic dwarf theme.
Great job!
Cheers

The pillars are from an art supply store in the wedding decoration aisle. They were hollow, so I put some disc magnets in the bottom of them and in the board to allow them to be held in place. Then I covered them with a think piece of plastic and cut it to shape.
The gears do work. In the largest gears there is a rod to turn the gears. These were simply some plastic gears with some very thin dowling. The dowling was pushed into the foam, and was made loose enough to make sure that the gears turn smoothly.
I agree about the logo. I have asked the owner of the Dwarf Giants team a few times for his logo image, but he won't send it (will you Ben? What's wrong with you? I mean is this board not good enough for you? Huh? Is that it?)
I digress....
Yeah, I will look into even a simple logo. Spruce it up. |

Gotta get my hands on some of those wedding decorations too!
Can think of dozens of uses for them, for building cenario to several games...
Cheers
