Greetings,
I'm new to the game...and I am looking towards a future Ogre team. In the Living Rule Book v5, it says Snotlings. But the Team comes with Goblins.
Are they the same? Can I purchase goblin figures? Or do I have to purchase Warhammer Snotling figures.
Thanks for any and all assistance.
Sir Thom |

The team got changed in LRB5, losing goblins and getting snotlings in their place. Unfortunately GW aren't marketing in line with the current rules
Options are
1) Buy 2nd ed snotlings on eBay
2) Use goblin minis for snotlings
3) Use snotlings from WFB or similar
4) Alternative sources |

And for the record ... the GW Ogre team does not come with Goblins .. its come with one Goblin which is Grotty ... he is a star player in LRB 5.0 who plays for the Ogre team.
The current Ogre team GW sells has the following:
4 Ogres
1 Ogre Star player Brick Far'th
1 Goblin Star player Grotty
BBFigs.com sells an Ogre team with 6 normal Ogres. We sell Brick and Grotty seperately.
Mix the BBFigs.com Ogre team and the Gnoblar pack and you'll have a 14 players team ... and depending on how you play Ogres ... I personally just use a roster of 14 players to leave two open for Star Players.
This unpaid advertisement is now ended.

I ordered 15 packs of these guys to put into BBFigs.com and I'd say only about 50% are easy conversions to be BB playes. Some packs I'd be lucky if it was 25% that were good. Its why BBFigs.com doesn't carry the WFB Snotlings ... the mix of easy conversions to not easy in the packs was just too much on the not easy side in too many packs. Since those packs are entirely random ... you can get lucky and get a great pack for BB. But my recommendation would be to purchase two packs to try to get 8-10 nice different Snotlings for conversions.

I've got some of those, and indeed they are snot sized.
The look tiny even next to gobbos!
In fact they are so small that they should get a "push back" result every time they catch a ball...
Very nice sculpts by the way!
Cheers
