So far, I am pretty pleased with the product - the Cyanide Blood Bowl game.
There are a few quirks, but I'm having a blast.
It lets our league play on off nights, and just mess around with teams.
Anyone else playing out there? |

Myself and a couple others I know are into it and thinking of making a league.
I'm enjoying the ability to try teams I never thought to try before. I'm going to start building an Orc team for the table because of this game. |

I like it and am having fun playing, but I am dissapointed with some of the things they left out like assistant coaches and weather. Plus the fact that Bloodweiser babes and wizards are in the blitz mode, but not in the classic is irritating. Also not having the choice to not use skills like pass, juggernaught and grab(can't push out of bounds!) sucks. Hopefully this will all be fixed in a patch. Despite my gripes, it is a good game and the closest thing to LRB5 we got. It tides me over between my table top league matches. |

I am definitely enjoying it.
To echo an earlier comment, my favorite part is trying out new races and really playing and advancing them to see how they feel. I actually like playing Wood Elves, who knew?
The online interface is really bad - seems near impossible to just get a random game going with some random person online. Using it as a forum for a league or league supplement seems ideal.
Overall it allows me to play with the game much more, which I love. I think on balance they really got the gameplay right (less a few annoying issues, such as some cited in this thread).

I wish you could host your own more private league. As it is, you compete with everyone on the server in total for team names.
Also, the league creation seems a whole heck of a lot more clunky than it should be. Bleh.
I am, however, enjoying the Campaign. |

I really didn't enjoy the first two tournaments against the AI since it was too easy... however I actually managed to lose a game last night. My goblins against skaven, I only started with 14, he got 2 blitzes and I snake eyed to give him another TD too. I think there is some sort of "warm up" when the AI is rubbish for the first couple of tournaments. That only makes sense to me on easy, why you'd do it on hard seems odd.
I think the AI plays fast teams much better than slow ones. |

Have they fixed Tackle's interaction with the ! Star? As a new player, I am trying to learn the game. When my Tackle skill only works 25% of the time, it gets really annoying. Still, I will likely upgrade to Legendary since it offers CRP6 where the Dark Elf Edition does not. |

Apart from it not being optional, what was the problem with Tackle, as I never had any issue with it? |

I keep having players dodge away from me when I block them with my dwarf linemen and roll a ! star (defender stumbles.) This should not be happening. |

Dodging away, or not falling down when you Block?
They can still Dodge away if you have Tackle, just means they can't use the Dodge skill re-roll. |

Per the rules of Tackle; an opponent may not use the Dodge skill to affect a Defender Stumbles result, nor may he use the Dodge re-roll if in the tackle zone of an opponent with Tackle.
Luckily, this flaw is now working correctly. I don't know if I fiddled with settings or what but Tackle seems to be working properly now. |
