Post subject: NAF Championship Evening Entertainment

The NAF are considering organising some evening entertainment on the saturday night in Bugmans IF popular opinion shows that this is desired. This will be organised and run by Frank Hill of GCN Club BRGA.
GW have provided guidelines of what they can allow(anything suggested must meet with GW's Health and Safety regulations), and from this suggestions have arisen from which three options must be selected.
Please vote for your favorite option(s), vote for no entertainment if you are averse to the whole idea, or email your suggestion to mrfrankhill@yahoo.com before 26/03/11 and we will review it for permission and feasibility prior to adding it to the vote. |

I suppose bungee karioke from the roof may contravene their health and safety policy 
So drinking games could be fun, always wanted to try beerbowl, a turn lasts as long as it takes your opponent to drink a pint of beer. |

I'm surprised at the lack of votes one way or the other, so I guess Lucy this is the wrong part of the Forum. Where do you suggest?
Might have to extend or reissue the voting process, as there are over 160 coaches already paid up for the NAF Championship, and I presume less than 10% of them have seen this ...
Have asked Brendan to send an email to the attendees asking them to vote...will check if he's done this.

well 8.52% have voted alot won't bother to vote if they see this or not i'm not supprised in the slightest
at previous bbgt's evening entertainment was always a disaster and got in the way of peoples socialising |

A mailshot to those who've bought a ticket would get more exposure
not many people check the NAF site due to the lack of activity over the years, so this being on another part of the forum wouldn't have made much difference
you also have to scroll down below all the stickies to even see it |

I'm happy enough amusing myself. I'm guessing there will be plenty of continental coaches coming over that I've not seen for a few years. Plenty of people there to catch up with and no doubt there will be people bringing other games to play too for those so inclined. Flux, dominion, etc.
I'm also personally tempted to head over the road to Dusk Till Dawn for some poker, meant to be the best poker club in Europe and I've still not managed to check it out.
I'm a well known grump/killjoy though ;] |
