I would like a clarification on whether the target of a stab or a chainsaw can use dumpoff?
Dump-off: "This skill allows the player to make a Quick Pass when an opponent declares that he will throw a block at him..."
Chainsaw: "A player armed with a chainsaw must attack with it instead of making a block as part of a Block or Blitz Action."
Stab: "This player may attack an opponent with their stabbing attack instead of throwing a block at them."
The wording seems to indicate that an attack with a chainsaw or stab replaces a block but are not blocks themselves and technically would not activate dumpoff. |

answered your own question.
Dumpoff ... Declares a Block at him ...
A player making a hit declares his action to be Block, or Blitz
then he declares who is his target
the weapons say you use them instead of making a block in a Block or Blitz action. You are still declaring it you are just rolling d6 instead of block die. (that is why you can chain/stab on a Blitz) |

Dump Off works against all blocks irrespective of the method used even Ball & Chain throws a block. |

Thanks. That is what I figured, but I wanted to make sure. |
