I wanted to create a completely plastic Dark Elf Blood Bowl team, what follows is that en-devour.
Work in progress:
Blitzers: - Corsair Legs, Dragon Lord Bodys, Corsair Arms, Corsair Heads
Linemen:- Corsair Legs, Warrior Bodys, Corsair Arms, Corsair Helmeted Heads
Runner:- Wytch Legs, Warrior Body, Wytch Head, Dragon Sorceress Ponytail, Wytch Arms, Warrior Forearms, sculpted hands, Wytch shoulder plate
Witch Elves: - Corsair Boots, Daemonette Bodys, Plastic Sorceress Heads, Daemonette Arms, Dragon Sorceress Forearms, sculpted boob.
The team on the previous incarnations display base.
Flesh Started
Flesh Complete on Runner
The flesh is as follows:
- 1:1 mix of Tallern Flesh & Space Wolves Grey
- Then mixed equally with Dark Flesh and used as a wash on the skin.
- Then Devlan Mud was used on the deepest recesses like eye sockets etc...
- Then Skull White was added incrementally into the mix from stage one for highlights.
- Using almost pure Skull White on the highest parts.
- Finally a glaze of Druchii Shade was used around the eyes & mouth to add depth.
After months of being lazy I had to get the team in a suitable condition to use at the NAFC 2013.
So, gold base coated, faces complete, chainmail completed, black tided up and Witch Elf hair started!
All the models had sand stuck on with PVA glue, this was then painted with Devlin Mud, when dry this was drybrushed with Kommando Khaki then Bleached bone and edged Chaos Black.
Position players had skulls and other details added to their bases for more 'flavor'.

Very nice choice of modelds and bits. It looks promissing!
Do you intend to go with dark colour shemes, or are you aiming at something different?
Keep us updated! |

Great stuff. I've been mulling over creating my own plastic mashup of Dark Elves. How many different boxes did you have to buy to form a team? |

Just out of curiosity, how did you do that inscription with the team name (black and gold that shows in the display)? |

I'm still keeping the other team until you finish painting this one. |
