Kick-off the new year in the nations capital with the return of the CCKO!!! Lots of fun will be had, as well as the return of the much loved/hated SKILLS DRAFT!!! Who will get to pick first?!?
This tournament is part of the East Coast Grand Prix (ECGP)...Rando will be on hand to present the 2012 ECGP Champion award to this past years winner...

COST:
$40-NAF members, $50- Non-NAF members (with $10 going towards NAF membership sign-up). $5 discount if you pre-pay before January 16th, 2013 @ 11:59pm. PM/email me and I will send you instructions on how to pay.
Food included for both days.
TOURNAMENT:
6-games of Blood Bowl being played over two days (4 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday). Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. With the famed SKILLS DRAFT after game 3. Tournament points are W/T/L - 3/1/0
TEAM BUILD:
1.1mil team build to start. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, fan factor, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased.
INDUCEMENTS
No inducements may be purchased unless you are the coach of a “Stunty†team. Stunty teams include; Halfling, Goblin, Ogre and Underworld (without Skaven), and Lizardmen (without Saurus) teams. Stunty teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player. Goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef, all as per standard CRP/LRB6.0 rules.
TEAM IMPROVEMENTS
Each team may choose between one of two skills packages after team creation. You may choose either:
• 5 regular skills
or:
• 2 regular skills + 2 doubles skills
As well, to promote race diversity, certain races are given additional skills. The following races get additional skills as listed:
• Chaos, Chaos Pact, High Elves, Elves, Humans, Khemri, Nurgle, Slann: 1 additional regular skill
• Halflings, Goblins, Ogres, Vampires, Underworld: 1 additional regular skill + 1 additional doubles skill
There is a 0-2 cap on any skill during team creation, mean no skill may be taken more than twice during the team creation stage. As well, no player may recieve more than one skill upgrade during team creation.

Are the rules the same as last year? Or did you implement the "everyone has to field at least six halflings" rule in the end? |

| HAHA, no halflings minimum rules this year. I updated the original post most to include team build. Once the rules set is complete, I will ask Eric to update the website accordingly. But the post above is a general synopsis of what is included. |

0-1 Halfling Master Chef: Halfling teams may hire a Halfling Master Chef for 100,000gps; any other team can hire the Chef for 300,000gps.
0-3 Bribes: Goblin teams may buy a bribe for 50,000gps; any other team can buy a bribe for 100,000gps.

Thats great you are coming Blank_page. As for accomodations, ones near by:
Bostonian Executive Suites http://www.thebostonian.ca/en/default.aspx
Best Western Plus Victoria Park Suites http://www.victoriapark.com/
Both of those are about 10 minute walks from the venue. Not sure about pricing, but I know one of the guys usually stays at the Bostonian.
If not, there are many in and around the downtown core, which is about 20-30 minute walk away. Hope that helps, and welcome back to eastern Canada. |

Well, I was hoping the new leadership change would lead to a formal name change.....CCKO should be renamed the CCRO officially.
For those who don't know the history of this event.....this is the site of the Famous Capital City Screw Job of Talons!!! Leading my campaign to change the name of this event to the Capital City Rip Off!!
I plead with new ownership to seriously consider this motion. |
