Post subject: Block - noob question

It's been quite a few years since I played BB regularly and never in a league setting and I've always played that a player standing up cannot block (but they can Blitz) but when someone questioned this I couldn't be 100% I was right.
Which is it? |

| You're right. Standing up amounts to movement, so you can't block without using your blitz action. |

| unless you have the Jump Up Skill. Then, with a little bit of luck it is possible to stand up and block without blitzing |
