2 Rogue Minotaur: A rogue Minotaur breaks from his restraints and charges on the field attacking everything and everyone. Set up the Minotaur on the Line of Scrimmage of the receiving team along a randomly selected sideline. After each turn, the minotaur will blitz/block the nearest player on the pitch, if no one is in range, he will move his full movement towards the nearest player (randomly decide if there are more than one possibility). The minotaur is considered a rookie with Pro. The Minotaur will stay on the pitch until the end of the drive or he is removed from the pitch due to crowd push, injury or KO, at which point he runs away never to be seen again.

3 Riot: A large group of monsters escape from their cages, resulting in total mayhem throughout the stadium. If the receiving team’s turn marker is on turn 7 for the half, both teams move their turn marker back one space as the referee resets the clock back to before the chaos started. If the receiving team has not yet taken a turn this half the referee lets the clock run on during the mayhem and both teams’ turn markers are moved forward one space. Otherwise roll a D6. On a 1-3, both teams’ turn markers are moved forward one space. On a 4-6, both team’s turn markers are moved back one space.

4 Pass Defence: The defence reads the offences play, and gets the jump before the play starts. All of the players on the kicking team are allowed to move one square. All monsters/Big Guys are allowed to move two squares. This is a free move and may be made into any adjacent empty square, ignoring tackle zones. It may be used to enter the opposing half of the pitch.

5 Smelling Salts: Each team receives 1 Smelling salts to use during the game, which can be used after a monster/Big Guy has failed a nega-trait roll (Bone-head, Wild Animal, Take Root, and Really Stupid). The smelling salts allow the creature to automatically pass the failed roll and continue his/her action as normal. The salts can only be used before you decide to use Pro.

6 Heckling Fans: The fans seem to be extra rowdy and are doing an excellent job of distracting the teams on the field. Each coach rolls a D3+FAME+cheerleaders, and whichever team has more monsters/Big Guys on the pitch receives +1. The team with the lowest score loses a team re-roll for the remainder of the half. If the losing coach has no re-rolls remaining, then the winning coach gains a re-roll. In the event of a tie, both coaches lose a re-roll.

7 Changing Weather: Make a new roll on the Weather table. Apply the new Weather roll. If the weather roll was a ‘Nice’ result, then a gentle gust of wind makes the ball scatter one extra square for each monsters/Big Guy on the field.

8 Losing Control: The monsters/Big Guys seem to be extra irritable, and are not being very cooperative. Each coach rolls a D3+FAME+assistant coaches, and whichever team has more monsters/Big Guys on the pitch receives +1. The team with the lowest score loses a re-roll for the remainder of the half. If the losing coach has no re-rolls remaining, then the winning coach gains a re-roll. In the event of a tie, both coaches lose a re-roll.

9 Quick Start: The offence starts their drive a fraction before the defence, catching the team flat-footed. All of the players on the receiving team are allowed to move one square. All monsters/Big Guys are allowed to move two squares. This is a free move and may be made into any adjacent empty square, ignoring tackle zones. It may be used to enter the opposing half of the pitch.

10 Blitz!!!: The defence starts their drive a fraction before the offence is ready, catching the receiving team flat-footed. The kicking team receives a free “bonus” turn. However, players that are in an enemy tackle zone at the beginning of this free turn may not perform an Action. One monster/Big Guy not in a tackle zone at the start the Blitz may take a free Blitz action in addition to the standard one per team, but cannot use both. He must still make a nega-trait roll before doing the blitz. The kicking team may use re-rolls during a Blitz. If any player suffers a turnover then the bonus turn ends immediately.

11 Thrown Boulder: The enraged crowd is worked into a feverish frenzy and hurls a massive boulder at one the players on the field. Each coach rolls a D6+FAME+Cheerleaders+Assistant Coaches+ and whichever team has more monsters/Big Guys on the pitch receives +1.The fans on the team that rolls higher are the ones that threw the boulder. Decide randomly which player is targeted on the field, monsters/Big Guys cannot be targeted. Roll for the effects of injury straight away, no armor roll is required. All players adjacent to the targeted player are placed prone as the go diving out of the way to avoid the massive boulder. Monsters/Big Guys are not scared of the object and ignore its affects. In the case of a tie, a boulder is thrown at each team! Resolve the receiving team first. Prone players can still be hit by rocks.

12 Foul Stench: A gentle gust of wind blows across the field, bringing the revolting scent of the nearby manure pile with it. Everyone in the stadium can barely stand the smell, except for the monsters/Big Guys who seem unaffected. Roll a D6 for every player on the pitch. On a roll of a 1, they cannot take any action or assist a block or foul during their next turn, but they keep it together enough to still exert a tackle zone.

Halfling teams can get Deeproot and a master chef.
Goblins can get bribes and Ripper.
Increasing value for team purchases as per team tier affiliation.
Increasing value for skills purchases as per team tier affiliation.
