fumbbl has been great and PC is really sharp but MAN do I miss table top bb tourneys. The weekends away with pals, the road trip adventures, the inevitable after hours silliness, I miss it all! the game, the minis, the dice, and the shot at a trophy were always important to me but it became less important than the jokes, stories, and the people over time. I have no clue when tourneys will be able to run like they did in the good old days or when I will personally feel comfortable attending again but MAN-o-MAN do I miss it all.

Well unfortunately in my area of Ontario we are all at least an hour or two away from each other so most tourneys mean driving and staying overnight at buddies homes/renting rooms. not ideal. Ottawa and Toronto are 'hot spots' right now so venue space is also an issue. outdoors options are limited because...Canada haha. Public Health also is recommending we avoid non essential social gatherings with people outside of our bubbles. but ultimately I think most of us realize it's not worth the risk and outside of really wanting to play in person it is just not a priority vs family health. but meh I dunno lol |
