I have a ogre which is gathering SPP at an alarming rate (for the other teams at least), after 5 games he now has 47 spp, so hopefully he´ll get a few cas in the next match against a lizzard team.

So far he has 5 6 2 9 Mighty Blow, Bonehead, Big Guy, Block, Pilling On, ST.

So the question is..... which skill next time:

Tackle, get down you puny elf!

Multiple Block, you and you....!

Or is there an other skill that I should focus on? I also have my eyes on break tackel, and guard....but.... let´s face it he is the hard hitting blocker of the team, which by the way is a norse team, and with 6 in ST, it would be nice with MB.

Anybody out there with experience on that problem?

I would take the multiple block. 2 die block with an assist rocks.

I think that also Break Tackle would help.... an "agility 6" ogre is always nice to use, isn't it? Wink

Hand off to the ogre and then the opposite coach will forget every possibility to steal the ball at him, and he will have not many problems in reaching the touchdown zone Wink

The problem with the Hand off is that the ogre has to grab the ball. Let´s see AG 1... accurate pass +1 Ohh I only need a 5+.
Frenzy can only take it on a double.... might go for it then. And then tackle, as well as Multiple....

How does Multiple block, frenzy, pilling on, and mighty blow work together?

Can I pill on the first player i get down, push back the other, and thats it?
Or may I only Pill on if both players go down? and then pill on one player and mighty blow for injury, as well as MB on the av of the next?

Frenzy and Multi Block don't work together. They're one or the other skills.
Not sure on Multi and Piling. I'd probably take Frenzy on a double and Break Tackle on a normal roll.

Leader or Frenzy on a double. Probably guard or multiple block on a normal skill.

What team is he in?

Sorry, but you wrote that your ogre was having Ag 2, and that meant 4+ to grab the ball... it's 50% possibility to do that....
Leader to one of your linemen, and you have also the re-roll.... and he will become unstopable...

Just my 2 cents...

Break Tackle isn't that useful.

1st of all Bonehead means you don't really want to be using him to move the ball or blitz.

For blocking, not too many people want to stand next to a S6 player with piling on & mighty blow. Just hit them!

He is on a Norse team. But he did not preforme a all... 6 times 1 on a bonehead roll, 3 x push back, 3 rounds on the ground due to PO. And the rest running around for victims. Sad
