How to add your tournament to the Al-Andalus Cup:
It must be held in Andalusia, be a NAF tournament and have a minimum capacity of 30 participants (even if less than 30 players attend on the day of the tournament). You must communicate your intention to participate in the circuit when you announce it and donate the amount of €5 to the circuit to cover the cost of the circuit prizes.
General Classification
It represents the best coaches of the year who have played in tournaments on the Andalusian circuit, whether individual or team tournaments. The requirements to enter the classification are:
• Play in two different provinces at least.
• Play 3 different races minimum.
• Maximum your 7 best tournaments will be counted.
• The maximum score will be your TWO best tournaments in each province.
Points based on ranking in a tournament
Points for the general classification, in individual tournaments:
Each player in a tournament participating in the Al-Andalus Cup receives points based on their position in the classification, as follows:
The top 30 in each tournament will receive points based on their position in the final general classification of each tournament. The first will get 30 points, the second 29, the third 28, and so on until the one in 30th position will get one point.
In addition, the following bonus will be applied to the points obtained based on the number of attendees at the tournament.
Between 30-39 participants; +1 point to your tournament score
Between 40-55 participants; +2 points to your tournament score.
Between 56-75 participants; +3 points to your tournament score.
Between 76-99 participants; +4 points to your tournament score.
100+ participants; +5 points to your tournament score.
If there are less than 30 participants in a tournament, the points will be as follows:
The first classified will receive as many points as NAF players have actually participated in the tournament, that is, if 22 players participate in the tournament, the first will receive 22 points, the second 21, and so on until the last classified will receive 1 point.
If the tournament, in the end, does not bring together at least 20 NAF players, it will not be taken into account for the Andalusian circuit.
Important note: the player or players who do not finish the tournament or concede a match will not be taken into account in the tournament, leaving their score orphaned (their points will not be passed on to the next classified). Example, Pepito finishes in 25th position, 6 points would correspond to him, but he abandoned the tournament in the 3rd round, this tournament for Pepito will not be taken into account at all, neither points, nor races, nor provinces and the next classified will receive their corresponding score to their position, that is, the 26th will receive 5 points, the 27th 4 points, etc.
Points for the general classification in team tournaments:
They will score according to the final classification of the team tournament as follows:
Points will be distributed as in individual tournaments, from 30 points for the best to 1 point for the 30th place, (adding the bonus for total participants), according to the following rules:
• 1st team:
o The first player in the individual classification will receive 30 points plus the bonus for participants in the tournament.
o The second player on the team in the individual classification will receive 29 points plus the bonus.
o The third player on the team in the individual classification will receive 28 points plus the bonus.
o If there are more members of the team they will receive points according to the individual classification, so on, the 4th on the team 27 points, the 5th 26 points, etc.
• 2nd team:
o The first player in the individual classification of this team will receive the highest score available after having distributed the first scores among the first classified team, that is, if it is a team tournament of two (in pairs) the first classified The second couple will receive 28 points plus the bonus, because the first couple got 30 points for the best of the first couple and 29 points for the other.
• 3rd team and following:
o The points will be distributed as described above for the 2nd team, (until all the available points are distributed, until a player receives a point), it could happen that, depending on the players that form the teams, that in the last team where points are distributed, there are players who receive points and others do not.
Tiebreakers
In the event of a tie on points between two players, the tiebreaker will be carried out in the following order:
1. Having played in more provinces.
2. Most victories in direct confrontations in any of the tournaments on the circuit.
3. Best winratio in the 7 best tournaments (1 win, 0.5 draw, 0 loss).
