NUFFLE is in da house!

Perfect day for the perfect Blood Bowl event
11/11/11

Simple:
RULE #1:

Have fun! We're all here to enjoy a long evening of one of the best games around, so let's do it! Take a nap after work cause your gonna need it.

Schedule:
Friday 11/11/11
Round 1 7pm
Round 2 9:15pm
Round 3 11:30pm

What To Bring:
Beer, Soda, Chips, Stuff to cook on the grill, a change of undies cause you are gonna get the tar beat out of you (on the pitch).

* Your painted Blood Bowl team-- Any models you want as long as they clearly represent the position.

* 2 copies of your team roster-- one for the officials, one for use during games

* Your Blood Bowl Blocking Dice, templates, assorted bits, board, dugouts, etc. -- GW/NAF^^ Blocking Dice, and other bits. You shouldn't need your board or dugouts, (YOU WILL NOT need your templates, range ruler)^^ You may not use Impact or other dice as blocking dice.
* Copy of the CRP***-- freely available for download (BB Complete Blood Bowl Rulebook) from GW

Tournament Rules:

Starting rosters TV 110, prior to selection of skill packs (see below).

Any official team in the CRP is welcome -- including Slann, Underworld and Chaos Pact.

The Kickoff and Weather tables in the CRP will not be used, we will be using the NF custom tables. The weather is ALWAYS NUFFLED unless changed during kickoff. (which will revert back to NUFFLED after the drive or half ends)

3 Games no holds bared
Best Score/winning record/few other thing like TD or CAS

Tournament will be a resurrection style tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game, and any SPPs they may have earned will also be erased (good for personal stats though). The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play.

**Additional Skills:
One RANDOM player will be awarded one RANDOM Mutation. Each game (one per player)(from the full list)

5 Players on your team may each take one (non-repeating) skill from the following list. NO model restriction (ie a goblin may take piling on)

General >>
Fend, Dirty Player, Pass Block, Kick off Return

Agility >>
Sneaky Git, Jump Up

Passing >>
Dump Off

Strength >>
Multiple Block, Piling On

Mutation >>
2 Heads, Tentacles

Inducements:
All players are allowed to take 450K in the following inducement:
Cards (randomly drawn each round) (insanely brutal  )

Illegal Procedure:
This is Nuffle's Day so tread lightly. You want to call it the slime is on you.
The 4-minute turn rule is in effect as we do not wish to play 3 games until 3am (stick around for a 4th game then. yea!)

Dice:
Bring your dice. At any given point of the Match your opponent may use your dice. (wash the afterward you do not know where they have been)

Scoring:

Tournament points:

* Win = 11 pts
* Tie = 5 pts
* Loss = 1 pts

Bonuses:
1 pt per CAS
1 extra pt per non revived death (have a 3rd party watch the roll)
1 pt per TD
1 extra pt for a forward progress GFI (using all possible movement) TD (ie sprint must go all movement plus 3 gfi) (forward progress ** if you move 6 and do not have sprint you must start 8 squares from the EZ)
Game complete in under 1:46 1 pt ea.
* ALL CASUALTIES WILL COUNT!!! (cas, foul, crowd, splat, eat, trip, boom, cards, gfi and anything I missed)
(Yes, you get the self inflicted CAS)

* YOU GET CREDIT OF A TD IF YOU PUSH YOUR OPPONENT, holding the ball, INTO EITHER END ZONE!!!, OR OUT OF BOUNDS!!!!!!!!! (he gets a TD if you push him in your EZ forcing him to score, it just helps your overall score and keeps the TD neutral and prevents camping, and it is brutal. Nuffle Loves You.)

Tournament Matchups:

3 Games>> This is NUFFLEFEST so random drawing, some die rolling, rock paper scissors, what ever we have to do to make it interesting.

Note on Tie Breakers
The Scoring system has been adjusted in the hope of getting the most accurate representation possible of how everyone has performed. But no matter what is done, there will remain the possibility of ties in the standings. This will be the order ties are broken in. All else fails you can chuck dice to last coach standing.

1. Winning Percentage
2. Head to Head record
3. Net TDs plus Net CAS
4. Total TDs plus Total CAS

If there is somehow still a tie at that point, the tournament organizer will use his best judgment in finding a way to break the tie.
Painting:

All teams are expected to meet the minimum painted guidelines: they should have 3 colors on them and have had some attempt at making them appear finished. There will be a prize for best painted. The Best Painted will be rules by the staff. Feel free to post your preference on paper to the staff.
Sportsmanship:

We are here for the fun of the game. Sportsmanship is not only encouraged from the coaches, it is required! To make sure that everyone who attends will have fun, the Tournament official will issue a yellow card warning to anyone who is taking away from the fun environment we seek. If the behavior continues, a red card will be issued and you will be asked to leave the tournament.

An important note on sportsmanship. Fouling 16 turns in a row and running up the score is not poor sportsmanship -- but gloating and ridiculing your opponent while doing so is. Remember, we are here to have a good time.

After the final round of the tournament each coach will be asked to pick 1 coach they played that represented NUFFLE the most. These votes will be used to determine the winner of the "NUFFLE IN TRAINING" award.
NAF (see TheNaf.net for more info):

The NUFFLE'S FAULT will be a NAF-sanctioned tournament: any matches between NAF coaches will count for ratings point toward your NAF ranking. We do encourage all coaches to join NAF, although it is not required; there is $10 fee at the NAF site for one year membership, which includes a set of official block dice -- the tournament organizers will have the NAF dice available onsite for newly joined or renewal members! Interested coaches may also sign up at the tournament. PLEASE provide us with your NAF id on your team sheet. NAF membership last for 1 year, to renew please pay the $10 fee (and you will get the cool new dice).
Awards:

People will get cool stuff (and some left over crap, but hey NUFFLE loves you)
