4. General rules
Painting requirement
A painted team (minimum of 3 colors not counting the basecoat) is required to participate in the tournament. Whether the team is painted or not will be checked during the first round. Non-painted or painted not according with the 3-color requirement mentioned before will be removed from the tournament after the first round – instead of them the coach will have to play a painted team from among the ones provided by the organizers without the posibility of changing the roster prepared for the team.
Time limit regulations
When one of the coaches wants to play with a chess clock, and he or she has the appropriate app which can measure 4 minute turns, the other player should agree on playing with the chess clock.
The Refs may allow the coaches to play 10 additional minutes if the match will not be ended in the set timeframe. After this time the match will be ended with the result present on the table. This time extension is possible only in a situation when a touchdown is ACTUALLY possible that would lead from a draw to a win or vice-verse.
If 30 minutes before the end of the round the coaches are before the 3rd turn of the second half the Refs should urge them to speed up. If such a match will not be finished in the set timeframe the Refs may not allow the game to be extended by the 10 minutes mentioned above.
If the opponnent definitely stalls the game time (not game turns) in order to gian an advantage the Refs may decide that the match is resolved as if the stalling coach Concedes the game (+2TD for the non-stalling coach and the game ends).
In all the cases not covered by this ruleset, the Refs have the final decision. |
