Information
This will be the tournament portion of the VOODOO Awards ceremony being held this December. It is NAF approved but will not count for VOODOO points.

The full rule set is below. Entry fee is $20.00 which will be put towards awards for the XWC event as well as Florida Blood Bowl Swag and the party itself.

No prizes but trophies for the usual five plus one for the winner of the Build a Dunwich Horror contest.

XMAS WITH CTHULHU SECRET SANTA
Just like previous years, there will be a Cthulhu inspired Secret Santa exchange for a FREE BONUS RE-ROLL (part of your rosters and usable once in all of your matches). As you know, re-rolls are extremely hard to come by in BB 7's so here's your shot to get one for the price of a small gift (wrapped or unwrapped). Your gift should NOT cost more than $10.00 and should be Cthulhu related. Could be anything. Those who GIVE a gift will RECEIVE a gift and get the bonus re-roll.

BUILD A DUNWICH HORROR
The Dunwich Horror is described as mainly a huge mass of giant legs, mouths and tentacles, and in the tournament will be represented as a template that takes up 2x2 spaces on the pitch. Players are encouraged to construct and paint their own using whatever materials they wish. The one voted to be the best by the other players will win the sixth trophy for the event.

RULESET FOR XMAS WITH CTHULHU IIII: A DUNWICH CAROL

This is a 3 round resurrection style Blood Bowl 7s event.

Team creation for this event would be 700 pts and choice of two skill packages: 4 normal skills or 2 normals and a double. No player may have more than 2 skills, no skill may be used more than once. Leader skill may not be taken

Everything is standard 7s rules except for the Dunwich Horror itself. The Dunwich Horror is a template that takes up 2x2 spaces - or 4 total - on the playing field. There will be a cardboard standee or template provided for each pitch, though players are encouraged to make one to enter into the Build a Dunwich Horror contest.

The Dunwich Horror begins play in the center of the field. At the end of each player’s turn he moves 1d2 spaces in a random direction (d8 scatter) if a ball ever should land on it, the ball is batted 2d6 spaces in a random direction from the space it would have landed in.

If the Dunwich Horror is ever moved onto a player, or a player is pushed or knocked down into the Horror, that player is thrown directly away from the Horror using the throw in template and rolling 2d6 and taking the highest number for number of spaces.

The player will automatically be knocked down, with a +2 bonus to the armor roll. Any intervening model in the thrown player’s path will be struck by the player and pushed back one space, with the thrown player ending up in the space the struck player occupied. The struck player is also automatically knocked down and suffers an armor roll with a +2 bonus. The push always occurs in the direction of the thrown player’s path and any model behind a struck player will be pushed into the next square in the path, but not knocked down, and so on. (The Dunwich Horror is very good at moving crowds)

The Dunwich Horror does not assist in blocks in either direction and does not have tackle zones. (it's not all that aware of the little people scurrying around it) and is also considered to have the disturbing presence skill, except that it is a -1 modifier rather than a -2.

It may never be blocked.

If the random movement of the Dunwich Horror should ever result in any of its body being off the pitch, it will instead not move at all that turn.
