Straight out of the streets of the Gem City, two Ogres have risen above the rest. Having played first hand in many of the local circuit tournaments across the country, these Ogres have put together a grand tournament for the 3rd Year. They hope to pit the best Ogre Teams and “Other Races” coaches against one another for the coveted Ogre-hio Open Trophy.

Tournament entry provides: 2 Official Tournament Dice (possible other surprise swag and giveaways). 4 Ogre-Tastic Games of Bloodbowl with some of the coolest nerds you could ever hang with. Raffle for a couple door prizes, maybe some other things like an Ogre pat-down!

Painting and Modeling requirements:
All teams are expected to meet the minimum painted guidelines. They must have 3 colors on them and no metal or plastic showing. Non standard or converted minis are acceptable, but we must be able to easily tell the positions apart. You will not be allowed to proxy minis in any way that can confuse an opponent, for example: “This cheeto is actually a Bull Centaur.” If you have any doubt at all about your team please email me and we will discuss it: BBSchawn@gmail.com.

Tournament Rules:
-4 games in one day (Iron Man Tournament) which will include 4 rounds of Swiss pairing and point totals to determine winner. There will be a Tournament Champion and Stunty Cup Champion. We will be using LRB/CRP6 with NAF mandated changes as a result of DZ 1 and 2. ***NOTE*** For Rosters - We will be using LRB6 Teams - UNLESS There is an update team roster in DZ 1 or 2. Ie Human Catchers cost, Goblin Team update just to list a few examples.

-Weather will be rolled by the Top Table at the start of each match and will apply to everyone’s games.

-The Kickoff table in the LRB 6.0 will used.

-Any official team in the LRB 6.0 are welcome, as well as Slann, Chaos Pact,
Underworld Creepers, Bretonnian, and Khorne (NOTE: Any roster and cost changes in the new 2016 Re-Release, Deathzone 1 and 2 will be used - IE Goblin Roster)

-Tournament will be a resurrection style tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game, and any SPPs they earn will also be erased. The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play.

-Rosters should be 1,250,000 coin roster. HOWEVER all Non-Ogre teams, due to being a little nervous about being on the pitch with these giants, MUST TAKE BOTH an Apothecary and Bloodweiser Babe. Necro and Undead Teams, since they cannot take an Apothecary, they must take 2 Bloodweiser Babes instead. Rosters may include the following allowed inducements only:

You may purchase these Inducements for your team, and have them for the start of each match.
1. Star Players: If two teams play each other and have the same star player, they will both be allowed to field the Star. Must have 11 Players before a star can be taken. Star may NOT be part of the initial 11 Players.
***NOTE*** The Only Legacy or Golden Era Star that is allowed for this tournament is Brick Farth and Grotty.

***NOTE*** YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE DOUBLES. YOU MAY SUBSTITUE A DOUBLE FOR A NORMAL SKILL.
Before the tournament begins you may assign additional skills and improvements based on the following:

ALL NON-OGRE Teams:
4 Normal Skills / 2 Doubles Skills (you may choose not to take use double skills and replace with ONE normal skill per double skill given up) - With no player having more than 2 additional skill improvements add. (Yes, you can put both doubles skills on the same player). Roster build is 1,250,000 (Including Bloodwieser Babes and Apothecary) – Using any roster cost changes from the new 2016 GW Bloodbowl release and Death Zone 1 and 2

ALL OGRE TEAMS:
4 Normal Skills / 4 Doubles Skills (you may choose not to take use double skills and replace with ONE normal skill per double skill given up) - With no player having more than 2 additional skill improvements add. (Yes, you can put both doubles skills on the same player). Roster build is 1,250,000
In addition to the skill improvement package, your team can purchase Guido Grottoflip for 60,000 (SEE Allowed Inducements) – However NO SKILL IMPROVEMENTS may be added to this player.

***NOTE***
-Ogre Teams are defined as the Ogre and Snotling Team.
-Normal Skills are defined as a skill that are available to a player on a normal skill roll.
-Doubles Skills are defined as a skill that are available to a player on a doubles skill roll.



Your Team Roster:
- Must be filled out completely. Coach Name, NAF Name, Race, Team Name, numbers, player names, position, stats, skills, and cost per position. Additional skills should be highlighted or stand out.
-Bring Five (5) Copies with you to the tournament
-This Must be done! For no other reason than for your opponents convenience.

Illegal Procedure:
In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called. The 4-minute turn rule will not be strictly enforced. The Tournament Directors will give time warnings.
Please be a sporting coach and play at a pace that will allow you to finish your games.

Dice:
D6’s and D8’s
Everyone that attends The Ogre-hio Open will be given a set of tournament dice. Any D6’s can be used as long as they can be agreed upon at the start of the match. Players also a agree to share dice if requested by opponent. Tournament Directors have final decision in the event of conflict.

D8’s
Any D8’s can be used as long as they can be agreed upon at the start of the match. Players also a agree to share dice if requested by opponent. Tournament Directors have final decision in the event of conflict.

Block Dice
Any block dice can be used as long as they can be agreed upon at the start of the match. Players also a agree to share dice if requested by opponent. Tournament Directors have final decision in the event of conflict.

Scoring:
Win=60 points
Tie=30 points
Loss=10 points
Points Awarded for Touchdowns and Casualties (Casualties are ones that are caused by a blocking or blitz action) ARE FOR MOST CASUALTIES AND TOUCHDOWN AWARDS ONLY. NO BONUS POINTS ARE ADDED

All 4 rounds of tournament will be using a swiss pairing system to handle matchup. All tournament point totals after the 4th round will determine the Tournament and Stunty Cup Championship winners. In the event of a tie, 3 tiebreakers are in place to determine the overall winners. Awards will be distributed on the “Share the Love” concept. Meaning if a coach is eligible for 2 awards, they will be given the choice of which they would like to receive.

Sportsmanship:
Sportsmanship is not encouraged from the coaches, it is required! To make sure that everyone who attends will have fun. The Tournament directors will issue a warning to anyone who is taking away from the fun environment we are looking for. If the behavior continues you will be asked to leave the tournament. Arguing with the tournament directors or in any way showing them up can also result in a warning.
***An important note on sportsmanship: Fouling 16 turns in a row or running up the score is not poor sportsmanship. But gloating and ridiculing your opponent while doing so is. Remember we are here to have a good time.

Best Sportmans Award will not be present at this tournament as everyone is expected to be a good sport unless you want Ogre lovin’!

The Ogre-hio Open will be a NAF sponsored event. Anyone playing who isn’t a NAF member yet and would like to join may sign up at the tournament, as there will be a NAF representative on site. You can also renew your membership at the tournament. Cost of new members is included in your Tournament entry. Renewal cost is $5
