Ruleset Document

Information
3 Games starting at 9am. Game length is 2hr 15min.

What are the rules?

The BB2016 version of the rules will be used, except the Piling On skill will not require a team re-roll for use. The tournament will be Resurrection style (injuries and deaths do not carry over, teams reset after every game).

What team can I use?

Coaches may select a race from the 23 official races in the BB2016 including all BB2016 publications and the “Teams of Legend” document, whichever is more up to date, and the 3 additional NAF recommended races: Slann, Daemons of Khorne and Bretonnians.

What are the roster rules?

Coaches will have 1 Million GP to spend on their team to purchase players, apothecaries, team re-rolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, fan factor, star players and all inducements (except special play cards, mercenaries and wizards) and skills, plus 150k GP to spend on 1 player who is the “Breaker” (breaking the chains) with the following restrictions applied:

- Teams must have a minimum of 11 players on their team, this can include the “Breaker” and a Star Player.
- Maximum of 1 Star Player per team, except Stunty teams who may select 2 Star Players
- Stunty teams are Ogres, Halflings, Goblins, Stunty Lizardmen (no Saurus), and Stunty Underworld (no Skaven).
- Any skills bought for your team (excluding the “Breaker”) are paid for from your 1 Million GP, only normal skills may be purchased, strictly no doubles or stat increases.
- No more than 1 skill per player (excluding the “Breaker”).
- A skill cannot be purchased more than 4 times (this includes skills bought for the “Breaker”) e.g. Guard can only be purchased as an upgrade 4 times total on the team.
- The “Breaker” can purchase any skills or stat increase they like; however the maximum value of that player cannot exceed 150k GP. For example, if the purchase value of the player is 50k, you will have 100k to spend on skills and stat increases, if the purchase value is 120k, you’ll have 30 to spend on skills and stat increases.
- Unspent GP of the “Breaker” is lost and cannot be transferred to the rest of the team.
- Skill costs – Normal skills 20k, Double skills 30k, +MV/+AV 30k, +AG 40k, +ST 50k.
- No Star Players can have an additional skill.

Rosters are to be submitted by Friday 24th July. Every day late will result in 20k less to spend on the “Breaker” i.e. rosters submitted on Saturday 25th July will only be able to spend 130k on the “Breaker” and rosters submitted on the day will only have 110k o spend on the “Breaker”.

What models can I use?

The models you choose to use to represent your team and a player is up to you, the only things you need to consider are:
- Is the size appropriate?
- Is it easy to tell which model is which player? The positional players should look different to the linemen, etc.
- Is the model appropriately representative of the race? For example, you can’t use Humans to represent Skaven.
- Is my model painted? There is a 3-colour minimum requirement for the tournament.
- Does the player numbering match the roster?

How does the tournament scoring work?

This tournament will be a Swiss style tournament with no ‘play-offs’ for the final round. To be the best, you need to prove that you are the best all day!

Scoring:
Win – 100pts
Draw – 45pts
Loss – 10pts

Bonus Points
• +1 for any TD and Cas caused by the “Breaker”
• +1 for causing a casualty to your opponent’s “Breaker”

Tie Breakers will be determined by Opponents Score (excluding bonus points), TD Difference, Cas Difference, TD for and Cas For.

All casualties count as you have some effect on any casualty caused to your opponent, whether it’s blocking them, crowd surfing them, fouling them, making them dodge, or making them Go For It.
