Teams will be constructed using a budget of 1.1 million gold crowns. Inducements from the Blood Bowl rulebook may be purchased with funds from this initial budget, with the following exceptions:
Star players may only be induced by tier 3 teams, and only after purchasing 11 rostered players.
Special play cards are banned.
Teams then receive an allotment of skills based on their tier.
Tier 1: 4 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill
Tier 2: 5 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill
Tier 3: 5 Primary Skills, 2 Secondary Skills
Coaches can allot as many skills to the same player as they wish, provided that player does not receive more than the game’s maximum of six improvements. If you want your Wardancer to have Sure Hands Sure Feet Sprint Sidestep Pro Tackle, go for it! Further, any team may exchange up to 1 secondary skill for two random primary skills, which will be rolled the morning of the tournament with the tournament organizer. Finally, Tier 3 coaches may exchange both secondary skills for a single statistic improvement, again rolled the morning of the tournament with the tournament organizer. |
Tournament Report |

It was a murderer's row in the fifth annual PVSN Network Blitz!, with the majority of competition coming from hard-hitting elite play from well known commodities like Lizardmen and Shambling Undead. Fists were flying with injuries abound, but it was the nimble dancing of the Elven Lords o'Leaping, coached by grimfoe, who would emerge as the network's newest Champion.
Their path took them through twin Necromantic Horrors, but the true test was in defeating his own sons coaching the brutal Da New Orc Giantz and then later, the elite Chaos Dwarf Fallout Boys.
In succeeding in these contests, he established the Elven Lords o'Leaping as a force to be reckoned with, dominating the scoreboard with commanding control of the event's best offense, while simultaneously locking up the event's best defense. Though many elves died this day, those who survived returned to their forests as champions. |
