one day tournament with 3 matches
Tok BloodBowl Tournament (TBBT)
RULES
The number of seats will be limited and will be available until January 22th 2022. The cost is 100 sek.
Top 3 wins a price and 1st place will also get a BB goblet!
The tournament will be played over 3 games as a Swiss resurrection tournament. All injuries, including death, will be cleared after every game, i.e. the team roster will be reseted for each match.
Rules and teams from Second season rulebook (2020), teams of legend and from Warhammer community will be used. In addition, Slann and Khorne deamons teams will be allowed, rules for those can be found in NAF official rules from 2021.
REL (rule enforcement level) is regular. Disagreements should first be solved between playing coaches and if this doesn't work, contact the event organizers. If a big error/mistake has happened, the game will be reseted to before the incident.

Tiers
In order to reduce the unbalancing between the different races the TBBT will divide the races into five tiers.
Tier 1:
Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardmen, Shambling Undead:
5 Primary Skills
Tier 2:
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Human, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Wood Elf, Khorne, Underworld Denizens,High Elf:
6 Primary Skills
Tier 3:
Imperial Nobility, Necromantic Horror, Old World Alliance, Pro Elf, Tomb Kings Chaos Renegade:
6 Primary or 5 Primary and 1 secondary
Tier 4:
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Daemons of Khorne, Nurgle, Slann, Vampire:
7 Primary or 6 Primary and 1 secondary
Tier 5:
Ogre, Goblin, Halfling, Snotling:
8 Primary and 1 Secondary OR 6 Primary and 2 Secondary
3 Team Creation
Teams at the TBBT will be built and will gain improvements (additional skills) according to their placement in the tier system above. The composition of all teams and all improvements to be taken must be submitted before the tournament.
Team Building
Coaches may spend up to 1,150,000 gold pieces when building their team. When building your team, you may buy:

0-1 Apothecary or Igor, depending on race
0-6 Fan Factor
Inducements. The cost will be as following and will count for all 3 games:
0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs for each 50k gp
0-3 Bribes for each 100k gp, for Bribery and Corruptions only 50k gp each.
0-1 Masterchef for 300k gp, for Halflings only 100k gp
0-2 NAF-approved star players (SP) for their regular cost plus 4 primary skills each (i.e. for each SP added you subtract 4 primary skills you can use for your normal players from above tier list). A secondary skill counts as 2 if used for buying a SP. SP can't get any extra skills.
Wizards, (in)famous coaching staff and/or Special Play Cards are explicitly not allowed at the Beginners Cup. If both teams have hired the same star player, he/she will take a break for that match and celebrate that he screwed both teams.
Extra skills
You can add skills (according to the above tiers) to your players. Single skills can be given to multiple players but combos (2) are unique and the same combo can't be given to another player, you can have max 2 extra skills on a player.
Scoring
We're gonna use this for handling the score in each game.
3 points for winning
1 point for draw
1 point for scoring 3 TD or more
1 point for making 3 CAS or more
1 point for 5 complet pass actions
1 point for 0 TD against you.
The one with the most points in the tournament is the winner! |
