the Stunty cup, which will be awarded to the highest placed Stunty team.

Time keeping

The timetable is based on 2 hour 30 minutes per match which equates to just over 4
minutes per turn for 32 turns (i.e. 8 turns per player per half). No overtime is played. It is
up to both coaches to ensure that games are completed within the allocated time. The
Tournament Organisers have the right to end matches as they stand if the matches are
not finished within the allocated time.
Any coach found to be deliberately stalling for time to run-out a match can be penalised
with a points deduction at the discretion of the Tournament Organisers.

Rule Queries
If at any stage you are faced with a situation that can’t be solved between the two
coaches and by reference to this Info pack, speak to a Tournament Organiser (TO). The
TO’s decision is final.

Team Building

All coaches have 1.2 million gold pieces to build your team, plus a tier-based skill
package to spend on improving their team. You must have a minimum of 11 players on
your roster before spend anything on inducements. They may also use this money for
rerolls, coaches, cheerleaders and dedicated fans.
The team tiers are as follows:

Tier 1

Amazon, Dark Elves, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elves

Tier 2

Black Orcs, Chaos Dwarf, Dwarf, Humans, Lizardmen, Necromantic Horror, Orcs

Tier 3

Chaos Chosen, Khorne, Elven Union, High Elves, Imperial nobility, OWA, Tomb Kings

Tier 4

Chaos Renegades, Nurgle, Slann, Vampire

Tier 5

Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings

Skill Package

All coaches will be allocated tier-based SPPs to spend on skills for their players. These
can be used for primary and secondary skills, no skill stacking or random skills allowed.
Tier 5 teams can have a single stat increase which is also non-Stackable. Stat
increases have to conform to the stat rules stated in the 2020 Rulebook.

Tier 1: 30 SPPs
Tier 2: 36 SPPs
Tier 3: 42 SPPs
Tier 4: 48 SPPs
Tier 5: 60 SPPs

Skill cost

Single skill = 6 SPPs
Double skill = 12 SPPs

Stat increases

+1 AV = 6 SPPs
+1 MA = 6 SPPs
+1 PA = 6 SPPs
+1 AG = 18 SPPs
+1 ST = 24 SPPs

Inducements

All Inducements from the BB2020 rule book, Death Zone, 2021 Almanac and the spike
magazines are allowed, apart from special play cards, mercenaries and Giants.

Star players

Tiers 1 & 2 may hire 1 star player, Tiers 3 to 5 may hire up to 2 star players. Due to
recent performances, both Morg ‘n’ Thorg and Hakflem Skuttlespike are currently under
investigation for illegal doping and are currently undergoing “random” drug screenings,
so will not be available for this Event.

If 2 coaches hire the same star player, both players can still use them.

Prizes

There will be awards for the following:

Winner
Runner Up
Most Casualties
Most Touchdowns
Stunty Cup
Wooden Spoon

What to Bring with You

Team Rosters: 2 copies of your roster, printed (on paper) so you team can be checked
at Registration and your opponent can refer to your roster, if required.
Models: Teams should be painted to a “decent” 3 colour minimum standard, based and
clearly numbered (preference is for the numbers to be on the front and back of the base
but not compulsory).

Unpainted teams may be cursed by Nuffle, for not paying him due honour and respect.

ANY COACH WHO TURNS UP WITH AN UNPAINTED TEAM, WHICH DOESN’T
MEET THE “DECENT" 3 COLOUR MINIMUM STANDARD, WILL GIVE YOUR
OPPONENT A FREE ROLL ON THE NUFFLE TABLE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE
GAME AT THE PRAYERS TO NUFFLE STAGE.

Teams are also required to be clear representations of the races they purport to be (not
necessarily GW) with clear differences between positionals. Skill rings or bands should
be used to show additional skills and these can be quickly explained to your opponent
during setup.

Positionals should be recognisable and representative. If you are unsure, please check
in advance with the Tournament Organisers.

Dice: Blocking dice x 3, D6 x 2, D8 x 1 & a D16 x 1.

If you are using non GW or NAF dice and they are difficult to read or the symbols on the
dice are less than obvious at portraying what results they are supposed to be
representing, you will need to bring a standard set with you as well.

Also, you must be prepared to share your dice with your opponent, if asked.

This is a requirement of entry, payment indicates agreement.

Pitches etc. A pitch, throw in template, scatter template, range ruler and dugouts. The
venue will have plenty of pitches available if you don’t have one.

Tournament Report
Thank you to everyone who attended, hope you had a good time and hope to see you in the future.

Kind Regards

Tony Griffiths
