Beach Bowl Tournament
L'As de Carotte is setting up its first Beach Blood Bowl tournament, the « Trophée Carotte ».
It will take place at l'As de Carotte, 29 rue d'Espagne in Bayonne (64100) FRANCE, on Sunday, september the 6th 2009.
Rules of play
All classical rules of Blood Bowl LRB6 applies, except for the following modifications.
Up to 16 coaches can take part
Pitcorganiser
The pitch is a 9x20 squares playground
Roster
A team is composed of 7 (mini) to 10 (maxi) players
All team races are allowed
You have 630.000 G.P. to build your team
A team cannot exceed 2 rerolls at the beginning of a match
Skills
Each coach can affect one simple skill to 4 different players of his team for the duration of the tournament.
The following skills, Sneaky Git, Dirty Player, Sure Feet and Sprint have no effect during the tournament.
Armor Value
All players have their Armor Value reduced by 1 point. The skills modifying armor rolls apply normally.
The weather is very hot, players wear light armor or even none.
Foul
No foul is allowed during a BBB match
It's summer time, players are on holiday and play for fun.
Go For It
No Go For It is allowed during a BBB match.
Running in the sand is very tiring and slow down the players...
Wounds
The sand softens the falls so players cannot be wounded, but they still suffer damages. The following Wound Table is used during a BBB match. The skills modifying injury rolls applies normally.

11-12 KO serious
Stunned : Like in the rules BB LRB6
KO light : The player is slightly KO'd and is placed under the KO 3+ beach umbrella. He will return into play during the next drive on a successfull roll of 3 or more on a D6.
KO serious : The player is seriously KO'd and is placed under the KO 5+ beach umbrella. He will return into play during the next drive on a successfull roll of 5 or more on a D6.
Starting a match
A team must have 7 player on the pitch at the begining of the match.
Each team must have at least 2 players on the LOS and may have up to 1 player on each side.
Duration
A match is composed of 2 half time of 6 turns each
Whatever happens during a game, a match will not long more than 70 minutes (1h10)
Weather
It's summertime, the temperature is very hot and the weather unstable

Sand Storm : Each time the ball must bounce or deviate, it bounces one square more that it normally would. The effect is cumulative (a failed pass will deviate 4 times and bounce twice)

All players KO'd during a match are ready to play the next one at the end of the match.
