Information
This is the first Annual Challenge of Q'ermit, hosted by Hammers of the North.

In this tournament participating teams will have an opportunity to span the globe, as they are transported via the portals of the Old Ones, to play in Blood Bowl pitches all over the world to determine who is truly the mightiest.

Players will have the chance to play on eight of nine specially constucted boards which represent different geographical locations (e.g. desert, ice, goblin swamp stadium). Each pitch will have their own special rules (for weather, etc.) which will be included in the tournament package. The two players who advance to the finals will be playing in the temple of the mighty Slann, Q'ermitt, who (for reasons known only to him) is set to determine who is the mightiest Blood Bowl team in the world and bestow them with the mystical Plaque of Q'ermitt.

Nitty Gritty-
The tournament will be based upon the Living Rulebook as it stand at the time of the tournament.

Prizes will be awarded (best painted, most touchdowns, etc. more TBA).

Swiss style tournament. 6 matches with the top ranked 2 teams playing the final 7th match.

Star Players or Wizards are not allowed.
edit - goblin star players with secret weapons will be allowed with costs shown in LRB 4.0

Halfling teams will be allowed to take extra ingredients for their master chefs at a cost of 80K.

1,000,000 golden crowns (TR100)

All injuries (even death) will be healed after each match, however any players killed wil lose any skills that have been accumulated through the tournament (but not skills that they start with on their profile).

You get 2 free "normal" skills at the beginning of the tournament (before the first match)

After each match the tournament organizer will be rolling 2d6 for skill advancement. The result of that one 2d6 roll will decide the advancement for ALL teams (doubles may be used as doubles in all respects, and "normal" skills may be selected in lieu of attribute increases should a coach wish). Any player may not be given more than one advance (skill or otherwise) - unless their first was lost through death.

Points:
Win 50 points
Draw 30 point
Loss 10 points

Bonus points are being awarded as follows: Won by 2 or more points: +10 points; Caused the most casualties: +10 points; Lost by 1 point: +10 points (NB - casualties caused by anything other than a block do not count towards the casualty bonus e.g. fouling, crowd, crocodiles....).

The 4 minute time rule is not being strictly enforced. It is up to both coaches to agree upon. However we will be on a tight schedule!
