Using the same ruleset as Ausbowl II State of Origin. This will be used as practise and possible qualification for the Australian Capital Territory team for Ausbowl II.
Cost is $20 or $35 if you are not a naf member. (the extra money for non-naf members will be used to sign up and you will get some cool naf dice). Prizes will be very limited and any extra money raised will go towards the cost of the trip to adelaide.
Lunch and drinks will be provided.
Date is set for saturday 12th january 2013. Starting at 8:30am.
All 24 naf teams are available.
Teams of 1.15 million
With a skill upgrade package to be choosen from the following.
Upgrade 1 -7 normal skills
Upgrade 2 - 4 normal skills and 2 doubles
Upgrade 3 - 4 normal skills, 1 double and +1 ma or av
Upgrade 4 - 4 normal skills and +1 ag
Upgrade 5 - 4 normal skills and + 1 strength
Each player may only receive one skill/stat increase + ag or + str can only be given to players with 0-4 or higher allowances in their team (ie not wardancers but woodelf catchers would be eligible)
A 50k special play card will be given to each player before each game from a different deck each round.
Anyone is welcome to attend not just those interested in making the team, but anyone who is interested in playing 4 games of bloodbowl. from the ACT or beyond.
There will be strict time limits on games and possibly timed 4 minute turns for all games. As the games at Ausbowl 2 have strict time limits. This will be confirmed in the coaches pack.
