Roster Creation:
- Each coach has an allowance of 1,100,000 gold pieces to create their roster.
- Inducements may be purchased during team creation, excluding Special Play Cards, Unlimited Mercenaries and Wizards. Inducements are considered a permanent part of the team that can be used each game.
- Teams may be selected from the 21 races in the rulebook in addition to the 3 new teams approved by the Blood Bowl Rules Committee (Chaos Pact, Slaan, Underworld Pact).
- You must have at least 11 players on your roster. Star Players are not a part of initial roster creation and do not count towards your 11-player base roster.
- The following teams will be eligible to win the Stunty Cup: Halfings, Ogres, Goblins, Lizardmen (no Saurus Warriors), and Underworld Pact (no skaven players)

Skill Selection:
Each coach has an allowance of 90,000 gold pieces to purchase skills or stat improvements (including ST and AG) for their regular roster players.
The following restrictions apply:
- No player may be given more than two skills or two stat improvements - If a player receives a stat improvement, they may not take a skill
- No more than three players may be given the same skill
- No extraordinary skills may be taken
- Players with a Strength value of 5 or more may not be given double skills or stat increases unless they play for a team build eligible for the Stunty Cup

Trusted Alliances
The Bound By Blood Bowl is a competition between pairs of coaches. Due to long standing grudges steming from on- and off-field brutality, only certain teams trust each other enough to consider entering into an alliance. Participating coaches are encouraged to register for the event with their alliance established.
Coaches that enter into a trusted alliance may share standard rerolls in live time except if the allied coaches are playing in different halves of their respective games. Leader rerolls remain fixed to the game in which the player with the Leader skills is on the pitch and may not be shared with an ally.
The great prestige of winning this contest has drawn considerable attention from the royal and tribal leaders of the realm. Kings and warlords have poured gold into hiring star players to ensure victory for their favored alliance. To represent this investment, each alliance will have a combined budget of 400,000 gold pieces to hire up to three star players.
Star players are shared between the two allied teams. Coaches will agree to which star will play for each team before each round once matchups have been announced. The higher-ranked alliance much assign their star players first. The star players will remain with the alliance throughout the tournament and cannot be substituted once hired.
In the event that opposing alliances have the same star player, the tournament organizer will roll a d4 to determine which team the star will play for in that round.
In the event that we have an uneven number of coaches in the tournament, the Odd Man Out will play a team that fits the solo coach’s trusted alliance group.

Desperate Alliances
Coaches participating in the Bound by Blood Bowl that do not register with another coach in a Trusted Alliance will be thrust into a Desperate Alliance with a randomly selected coach.
Coaches thrust into a desperate alliance may not share rerolls in live time.
Each team will have a separate budget of 270,000 gold pieces to hire up to two star players from the standard list for their race.
Star players hired by one team will not play for the other team in a desperate alliance.
The very nature of a desperate alliance is that the two teams can grow to support one another or tear each other apart. At the beginning of each round, the coaches in a desperate alliance will make an “Alliance Check” roll. Each coach will roll 1d6, add their numbers together and apply the result on the following table to both teams.
2 (or below) - Bench Clearing Brawl (Roll d6 for each player, 1 = Stunned)
3 - Dust Up (1 random player KO’d)
4 - Stolen Helmet (-1 AV for random player)
5 - Liquid Heat in Jock Strap Prank (Wild Animal for random player in first half) 6 - Foul Spirits (Lose Babe or Apothecary)
7 - Parlay Only (no effect)
8 - Drinks All Around (Free Babe)
9 - Trick of the Trade (Sneaky Git for random player)
10 - Try This On (+1 MA or +1 AV for random player)
11 - Heroic Speech (Leader for random player)
12 (or above) - Share Secret Playbook (Free Quick Pass on one turn in the game)
After games one and two, add +1 for each victory or subtract -1 for each defeat to the Alliance Check roll. Draws have no effect. Modifiers are cumulative. For the roll before game two, the alliance could be facing a +4 or -4 modifier!

Scoring:
Game Result Points:
+20 points for each win
+10 points for each draw
0 points for each loss
+1 points for a margin of victory of 2 TD’s or more +1 points for a shutout
Performance Points: +/- TD differential
+/- CAS differential
Rankings will be set by alliance points.
Painting Points:
