There be Pirates! (and Team Regression)
Thar be plenty o’ loot around the’ Exiles Open this year ‘n everyone is clamourin to get their filthy hands o’n it.
To that end every team has managed to get a chest o’ doubloons and can use it once in the’ tournament t’ bribe the’ ref after bein’ ejected fer foulin’.
At the start of the weekend (before you see your first opponent) you may upgrade 8 players with a
single skill up. 2 of these skills may be a double choice. You may not take the same skill more than 3
times. You do not collect SPPs, gold or fan factor.
However…. Some were more nefarious than others in tryin’ to get their gold ‘n their fellow band o’
pirates don’t take kindly to ‘it.
Before each match each cap’n may look at their opponent’s roster and choose one upgraded player to receive the’ Black Spot. The’ terror this engenders in that player makes them play like a rookie fer the’ rest of the tournament ‘n they lose their skill upgrade. |
