Burger Bowl III 2016 - 9th/10th July Edinburgh
The RAF club in Edinburgh (http://www.rafedinburghclub.org.uk/) has agreed to host the tournament in collaboration with the Edinburgh League of Gamers (http://elgamers.org/).
The venue is fully licensed and a buffet lunch will be available both days.
It will be a 2 day event
Start times: 9.30am on Saturday 9th July and 10.00 am on Sunday the 10th.
Tournament will be NAF ranked
Rules:
Competition Rules Pack (LRB 6.0)
1.1 million gold to spend on your team
BBRC approved Chaos Pact, Underworld Creepers and Slann teams are allowed
Star players are allowed for any team but only after 11 standard players have been purchased.
Stunty teams (Halflings, Goblins & Ogres) are allowed all other inducements
Skill Advancement:
10points to spend at team creation
1st copy of any skill: 1 point
2nd copy: 2 points
3rd copy: 3 points
4th copy: 4 points
+2 points if skill can only be taken on chosen player as a double
+4 points per subsequent skill added to chosen player
Games:
There will be 3 games on each of the 2 days. The first match will be by random draw. Thereafter, each match will be according to the Swiss system. Tie breakers will be Touchdowns, followed by Casualties
Scoring is as follows:
Win = 10 Points
Tie = 5 Points
Loss = 0 Points
+1 Point per TD (Max 3)
+1 Point per CAS (Max 3) (Blocking only)
Illegal Procedure will not be used.
10 points for a win
5 points for a draw
Coaches can take part on a one day basis or a two day basis.
There will be daily winners and an overall winner.
Prizes:
Best coach on each of the two days will receive a prize and the best coach over both days will receive the overall trophy.
Prices:
One day for a NAF member = £15
Two day for a NAF member = £27.50
Early Bird discount (available to those who book a place before May 1st):
One day for a NAF member = £12
Two day for a NAF member = £22
NAF membership will be available at the event for interested parties (£5).
