Granite Bowl 2018. Essential Information.

Ticket price per person :£25
What does the ticket price get me?
5 games of blood bowl (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) and a hot lunch on both days. Format and rules set will follow soon, however last years pack will give you a strong indication!
How do I get a ticket?
Please read everything in this section!
There are 36 spaces available on a first come, first served basis.
In order to get a ticket, please send the £25 to the following PayPal account ‘brushworkminiatures@outlook.com’. This payment should be made in a friends and family format.
Within the payment, please type your full name, and NAF name and number as required.
You will then receive an email confirming your payment (note that this email may take a day or two to generate, so don’t worry)
Tickets cannot be reserved, nor money given ‘on the day’ or by any other format. Strictly PayPal only. Tickets can be transferred to another player, however no refund will be given 4 weeks prior to the event.
Can I book a room at the hotel?
Yes! The Palm Court is a full service hotel, and rooms are available. All bookings and transactions are done direct with the hotel, but they have given us a discount code.

Tournament Gifts:
All coaches attending will be given a free set of exclusive tournament dice.
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
• Most casualties caused, Most TDs scored
• Stunty Cup (highest place with a Tier 4 team)
• Rookie of the tournament (for new players)
• “Mistakes were made…”
You can only win one of the above prizes, but may also win Best Painted which is separate.

Tournament Structure:
• 5 games, 2h30m per game
• Resurrection style, no progression
• Swiss format, 1st round may be seeded
• BB2016 rule set
(Boxed set, Deathzone 1&2, Errata, FAQ and Teams of Legend)
Team Selection:
Teams will have 1,100,000 gp to purchase players. Skills may not be purchased but will be added per the team tier as below.
Tier 1 - Amazons, Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves, Bretonnians
6 Normal skills, 0 Double skills, No star players
Tier 2 – Elven Union, High Elves, Humans, Necromantic, Khorne
5 Normal skills, 1 Double skill, No star players
Tier 3 – Chaos, Chaos Renegades, Khemri, Nurgle, Slann, Underworld, Vampires
6 Normal skills, 1 Double skill, Star players ok
Tier 4 – Goblins, Halflings, Ogres
6 Normal skills, 2 Double skills, Star players ok
Other Team Selection Notes:
• Models from any source may be used, as long as they are easily identifiable to their roster position
• All teams receive 5 fan factor for free
• All teams may purchase additional fan factor and inducements per standard race restrictions
• Special play cards will not be used or purchased
• You must have at least 11 players on the roster before you may purchase star players
• No star player may receive a skill
• No player may receive more than 1 skill
• Double skills can purchase Normal instead
• There is no restriction on skill duplication
• Wizards do not exist !!
• Illegal procedure will not be used
• The “Piling On” skill can be used and does not require a team re-roll to us
• You MUST have a coach model to argue the call

• 500 points for a draw

• 30 points for beating a Tier 2 team

• 10 points for winning by 2+ TD difference
• 10 points for losing by 1 TD difference
Feats
Truly special events (max 1 per game)
• 20 points for a pitch clear
• 20 points for scoring 5+ TDs in a match
In the Finest Tradition of Blood Bowl
• 1 point for causing a casualty (by any means you cause) of a star player.
E.g. Failed dodges, crowd pushes, fouls all count. Failed GFI does not.
• 1 point for a foul resulting in both a casualty and ejection
TDs / Casualties
• There are NO bonus points for TDs / CAS

Starting in round 3, at the beginning of each round, The Oil Baron will play in the lowest ranked game in which he has not yet played for both teams.
Before rolling for kick / receive, the coaches will roll off (D6+FAME) for the choice of who the Oil Baron play the 1st half for. He will play the 2nd half for the other team.
Stats - MA6/ST3/AG4/AV8
Skills - Loner, Sure Hands, Strong Arm, Horns, Juggernaut.
