Notice to all Coaches who have cursed Fate, their Dice, or, most grievously, Nuffle himself:
You are here by invited by our Cabalvision sponsors to bring your worst team possible to Loser Bowl. This will be a much different tournament than many have ever seen. You will create a roster and bring a team game which your opponent in each round will play while you play the roster they brought. Create the worst trash list you can think of, but beware you must play your own roster for the final match.
There will be a few twists to come about this event which will be revealed in time, including something special on the day of the event. Just know that this won’t be your standard Blood Bowl tournament.
Roster creation will be a little different than lately. You will create a TV1000k team. No skills or attribute changes. No more than 50k maybe spent individually on cheerleaders or assistant coaches each, and fan factor may not be purchased (this teams have a worse record than that caused by the Gambino... and they definitely aren’t love-able).
Teams must have at least 11 players.
At least 4 “specialist” players (not 0-12 or 0-16 players) must be hired.
Halflings and any other team with less than 4 specialists available must hire at least half rounded up of the available specialists.
2-4 rerolls must be purchased. TV must be at least 900k. Left over gold will be available to your opponent as inducement cash.
Only bribes and Halfling Chef may be purchased as rostered inducements.
No star players will lower themselves to play on these teams for any amount of gold.
Each coach will be given 150k for inducements at the start of each round*.
Limits on mercenaries are removed except that they may only have one skill.
Rosters will reset after each round except for Touched ya Nuffle rolls and Swiss pairings will be used.
At the end for each round coaches will roll on special Touched by Nuffle table.
Points are as follows:
Win: 20 pts
Draw: 10 pts
Loss: 5 pts
TDs: 2 pts
Interceptions: 2 pts
Casualties* (including fouls, crowd surfs, secret weapons, and stab): 2 pts
Completions: 1 Pt
There will be prizes for for several achievements at the end, including a bonus for future events I organize.
