Format:
The tournament will use the rules of Sevens, as described in the NAF PDF:: http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/NAF_BB7s.pdf
The only change is that we won’t use Star players, Extra Training, Special Cards.
Available teams include the normal 24 teams and both Deamons of Khorne and Brettonians.
Clock management:
Each round will last up to 80 minutes. Players are not required to keep a turn clock, but are urged to play fast. Since it’s the first time we’ll be playing Sevens in Portugal, we won’t be very rigid with clock management, and ask players to let us know how long the round took, so we can calibrate for future tournaments.
What players need to bring to the tournament:
- Team and a ball (painting is not mandatory).
- All the necessary dices.
- Printed roster, or the necessary player cards.
No need to bring a pitch, the organization will provide the Seven pitches to use during the tournament.
Although players must bring their own printed rosters and there will be no pre-checking, players are urged to send their rosters early to organization, if this is their first time playing Sevens, to avoid any mistakes.
Entry cost and prizes:
Entry cost: 5 Euros.
Prizes: There are no trophies or prizes per placing, we will raffle 100% of the players’ entry cost as store vouchers, in 20 Euro vouchers and the remainder as a voucher as well. |
