(SCB) Santa Claus Bowl I
Information
Date: November 24, 2019 – Registration will begin at 9:30am with games starting at 10:00am.

Each participant will receive custom 2 Santa Claus dice, 1 Amazing Santa Claus Miniature, 3 Special Play Cards, one of which iis the player card for Santa. One Side Naughty and one Side Nice Santa.
5$ NAF Membership every player is required to be a NAF Member to play.

What to Bring:
1) Your painted Blood Bowl team-- Feel free to bring any team from any designer. The team must have its players numbered clearly. The models you use MUST represent the position being played.
2) 3 copies of your team roster-- one for your opponents, one for use during games and one for the official.
3) Your Blood Bowl Blocking Dice, templates, assorted bits, board, dugouts, etc.
Tournament Format:
Tournament will be a Swiss style, resurrection tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game. Each round will see a coach play against a random opponent. In each subsequent round, the highest ranked player plays the next highest ranked player they have not previously played. The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play.
Rules:
We will be using BB2016 rules pack in combination with the NAF guidelines for tournaments found here: http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/NAFRulesFeb17.pdf
All 26 NAF approved races will be allowed, which includes Khorne and Brettonians.
There will be no overtime.
In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called -- please simply bring the issue to your opponent's attention and ask that he/she move their marker.
Weather Table: The standard Blood Bowl weather chart will be used
Kickoff Table: The standard Blood Bowl kickoff table will be used
Team Creation:1.25 Million Builds* Max 250K of build can be used for skills. No stat increases allowed. Maximum of 2 skills per model/player
A model can not have more than 50k in skills IE only one double and normal maximum!
*Stunty Teams (goblin, Halfling, Ogre, underworld no skaven, Lizardmen no Saurus) are only teams allowed to take additional star players. Santa believes they are the only team that need the extra help.
Every team will be awarded a Santa star player for each game. Prior to game start both coaches will announce which version of Santa they will field. Santa can not exceed the 16 player maximum and Santa does count towards one of your star player roster spots so stunty teams may hire only one additional star.

Skills: Loner, Block, Frenzy Jump-up, Mighty Blow, Piling On** Santa Must Pile on even if a Casualty was caused! 2nd injury roll must be accepted. So in theory A casualty can result in a stun or possible prone opponent.
Prior to each half a special play card event will take place. All other kick offs during those halves will result in normal kick off table.
1st Half Kick off event

Both Teams roll a D6 add fame; Winning team rolls a d6.
1. "You were really Naughty!" Stanta throws a chunk of coal at you! Resolf like Throw a Rock against opposing team; +1 to armor and injury rolls
2. "You were bad" Santa sucker punches one player from each side for smack talking. Each team has a random player stunned.
3. "Better Luck Next Year!"No actions taken
4. "You need improvemtn!" Kicking Team gets a defensive quick snap!
5. "Santa Blesses you!" Winner of roll gets awarded a 2nd Blitz action in their next turn.
6. "You were a good boy!" Santa gives you a free reroll for the entire game!
2nd Half Kickoff event
Rudolf storms the field with excitement, head butting all of the players on the pitch before the kickoff!" Every player on the pitch scatters one square using a d8 scatter template. players can be forced into opponent side of the field, and off the pitch. If pushed into a player resolve as normal push back results. Kicking team resolves head butts first.
Timing:
The two hour and 15 minute rounds will be enforced. You will receive ‘Time Remaining’ updates from the Tournament Organizer to help you stay on pace.
The 4 Minute turn rule will not be used unless the Tournament organizer feels your game is in danger of not completing in the time limit.
Scoring:
Tournament points may be gained through game play with several ways to accumulate bonus points.
