DETAILS
• $25 entry fee.
• Email Michael at michael_sa_yule@hotmail.com to register or ask questions.
• Location of the event is the Regina Royal Canadian Legion - in their lounge downstairs (1820 Cornwall Street, Regina).
• 24 spaces available for participants.
WHAT TO BRING:
• Painted team with suitable models.
• Skill rings or another appropriate way to identify skills/positions. Guard, tackle, and block should be indicated if added to a player/position.
• 3x block dice.
• 2x D6, D8, D12/16/20.
• 3 copies of your team roster including skill purchases and inducements.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
• Standard CRP & Sevens rules apply with some exceptions noted below. Sevens rules will be supplied to players. (Available here: http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/NAF_BB7s.pdf). NOTE THAT THE KICK OFF
TABLE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN REGULAR BLOOD BOWL.
• Teams will resurrect at the end of each games. No SPPs, injuries or any roster changes carry over between games.
• Illegal Procedure will not be enforced.
• Games will have a maximum length of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Turn time limits or chess clocks may be imposed if a game is at risk of going over the 1.25 hour time limit.
• Players must agree on cocked die rules, the use of dice cups and/or sharing dice at the start of the match.
• If there are any disagreements or rules disputes, tournament organizers will be standing by to assist.
TEAM FORMATION:
• Teams may be purchased using 600,000 GC.
• Star Players are not available.
• Apothecaries, Babes, Igor, Bribes, and Fan Factor are all allowed as normal.
• Halfling Chefs are only available to Halfling teams.
• Teams may be selected from any of the 26 current NAF tournament races (https://www.thenaf.net/tournaments/information/tournament-team-list/).
• In Sevens, a team may not have more than 11 players on the roster. A team will only field 7 players at a time.
• In addition, only 4 “specialist” players (meaning any player whose availability is less than 0-12) may be selected.
• Sevens teams are not very well-trained or reliable. Team rerolls cost double their listed cost. For example, a reroll for a human team would cost 100,000 GC. Teams are allowed a maximum of 2 rerolls.
• No “Leader” skill allowed.
• Per BB2016, “Piling On” is optional and will not be allowed at this tournament.
• Skills bought based on tiers:
o Tier 1 – Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf, Bretonnian
o Tier 2 – Chaos, Chaos Pact, Pro Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann, Khorne
o Tier 3 – Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld, Vampire, “Stunty Lizardmen”
• Skill System & Rules:
o Tier 1 – 1 double, 1 normal
o Tier 2 – 1 double, 2 normal
o Tier 3 – 1 double, 3 normal
o Stunty teams gain 1 additional normal skill.
o 2 normals may be exchanged to upgrade to a double. A double can be downgraded to a single normal.
o No characteristic (AG, STR, AV, etc.) boosts.
o One extra skill per player maximum. Each skill can only be purchased once.
SCORING:
• Win: 65 points
• Tie: 25 points
• Loss: 0 points
• TD: 3 points
• CAS: 2 points (Every CAS inflicted BY your team counts. Pitch or kick-off CAS will not count.)
STUNTY CUP:
• Stunty teams will play for their own cup while still participating in the main tournament.
• Stunty teams include Halflings, Goblins and Ogres, as well as Lizardman teams that are made up of all Skinks (or all Skinks plus a Kroxigor), and Underworld teams without Skaven players.
PRIZES:
• Regina Rumble Champion – The team with the most tournament points. In the case of a tie, tie breakers are as follows:
o Win/tie/loss record
o Head-to-Head record if applicable
o TD difference
o CAS difference
• “The End Boss” – The team with the 2nd most tournament points.
• “The Little Ones” – The Stunty Cup. The stunty team with the most tournament points.
• “The Pretty Ones” – Best Painted Award. Voted by peers.
• “The Wimps” – The Wooden Spoon. The least tournament points.
• “Best Show on Turf” – The most TDs scored.
• “The Mean One” – The most CAS for.
• “Snake-Bitten” – The most CAS against.
• “Iron Curtain” – The least TDs against.
• “The Nice One” – Sportmanship Award. Voted by peers.
• Everyone should be getting some sort of swag or prize, including a small swag bag for entry. |
