RED TIDE CHARITY TOURNAMENT RULES
1 Event Description
The Red Tide Charity Tournament is our annual charity Blood Bowl Event at Critical Hit Games in Iowa City. This years proceeds will be donated to the Johnson County Crisis Center to help with their uninsured flood damage.
2 Team Creation
Teams at Red Tide will be built and will have 12 points to be spent on skills for the event. Normal Skills cost 1 point, doubles skills will cost 2 points. 1 player may be given skills costing up to 3 points, 2 additional players may be given skills costing up to 2 points each, all remaining players may only spend up to 1 point.
Team Building
Coaches must spend a minimum of 1,000,000 gold pieces when building their team. When building your team, you may buy:
• At least 11 standard roster players before any star player
• 0-8 Re-Rolls
• Assistant coaches
• Cheerleaders
• 0-1 Apothecary or Igor, depending on race
• 0-9 Fan Factor
• Inducements. The cost will be as following and will count for all 9 games:
o 0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs for each 50 kgp
o 0-3 Bribes for each 100 kgp, for Goblins only for each 50 kgp
o 0-1 Masterchef for 300 kgp, for Halflings only 100 kgp
o 0-2 NAF-approved star players for their regular cost
o Note: Female star players will be available to all teams
o Note: Female star players may be hired at 50% cost
Wizards, (in)famous coaching staff and/or Special Play Cards are explicitly not allowed
Additional Cash
Teams may receive additional funding in exchange for additional donations. For every additional $7 donated, teams will receive an additional 50k in team value, up to a maximum of 1,300,000
3 How to Win the Tournament (Scoring & Tiebreaker)
The following point system will be used:
WIN: 60 POINTS
DRAW: 30 POINTS
LOSS: 10 POINTS
OUT SCORE OPPONENT BY 2: 2 POINTS
OUT SCORE OPPONENT BY 3: 5 POINTS
LOSE BY 1 TOUCHDOWN: 2 POINTS
OUT INJURE OPPONENT BY 1: 2 POINTS
OUT INJURE OPPONENT BY 2+: 5 POINTS
FINISH ON TIME: 3 POINTS

For determining the final standing and crowning the Red Tide Champion the following order will be applied:
1. Coach Points
2. Total Donation
3. Amazon Teams
4. Opponent score
5. Head-to-head performance
6. Net touchdowns
7. Net casualties
8. Public coin toss to determine the Red Tide Champion
