You pick one of the 26 official races and may create a team with a team value of 1.100.000.
You can spend your money on players, rerolls, fan factor and coaching staff (babes, coaches, apo)
Star players and other Inducements are not allowed. Except for bribes for goblins (50k each) and the Master Chef for Halfling Teams (100k)

Skills

Teams are divided into 4 Tiers. Depending on which team you pick you can allocate a number of skills to your players.
There are fixed skills (for the whole tournament) and there are random skills (just for one match, when you know your opponent)

TIER 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf
TIER 2: Bretonnians, Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic,

Fixed skills (for the whole tournament)

Tier 1= 4 normal skills
Tier 2= 4 normal skills and 1 double skill (skill as if you would have rolled a double)
Tier 3= 5 normal skills and 1 double skill
Tier 4= 6 normal skills and 2 double skills

Random skills (just for one match, roll and decide in front of your opponent)

Tier 1 = 1 normal skill. Choose three players who didn’t receive a skill yet and roll a die to decide which player gets the random skill
Tier 2= 1 normal skill. Choose three players. One of them can be a skilled player. Roll a die to decide which player gets the skill. If you roll the skilled player, you can stack your skills.
Tier 3= 2 normal skills. Choose three players. Two of them can be skilled players. Roll a die to decide which two players get an extra skill. If you roll a skilled player, you can stack your skills
Tier 4= 2 normal skills. Choose three players. All of them can be skilled players. Roll a die to decide which two players get an extra skill. If you roll a skilled player, you can stack your skills
