Skills:
Skill packages:
Note that all skills must be on your team roster before the start of the tournament, and that no player may be given more than one skill. Star Players may not be given extra skills.
Tier 1: Wood Elf, Undead, Lizardmen, Skaven, Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf, Orcs, Dark Elf, Norse, Amazon, Necromantic —> 4 normal skills
Tier 2: Chaos, Chaos Pact, Human, Khemri, Slann, Brettonian, High Elf, Pro Elf, Nurgle, Vampire, Underworld, Khorne —> 4 normal skills, 1 double skill
Tier 3: Goblins, Halflings, Ogres —> 5 normal skills, 2 double skills
Before each game (during pre-match sequence) you randomly determine players on your team (roll a d20) who will gain a skill for that game only (these can be stacked, not on star players).
Tier 1: 1 double skill
Tier 2: 1 double skill and 1 normal skill
Tier 3: 2 double skills and 1 normal skill
Game time:
We will keep a tight schedule. You'll have 2 hours for each game; turns will not be timed, unless a game is obviously falling behind schedule. Coaches should bring this to the attention of the referees (in case they don't notice it themselves); but the decision to time a match or not is up to the referees. If a game is not finished within 2 hours, coaches can finish their last turn(s), then the game will be stopped.
If a game is timed, a chess clock app should be used. If one coach’s time expires, he is only allowed to stand players up or turn them over from stunned to prone. These moves should be done as quickly as possible.
Pairing:
Teams will be paired at random for round 1 and after that Swiss pairing will be used.
Scoring:
Winning a game will earn you 2 points and a draw will earn you 1. The player with the most points on the day will be crowned champion. In case of more than one coach at a certain amount of points, the tiebreakers will be: SOS (Sum of Opponent Scores), Net touchdowns + Net casualties, Touchdowns made + Casualties made, Touchdowns made, Casualties made, random
Awards / Prizes:
(Small) Prizes will be awarded for:
• Tournament winner
• Best Dutch Player
• Best Belgian Player
• Most Touchdowns
• Most Casualties (blocking casualties only)
• Best Stunty coach (if at least three Stunty teams take part).
• Wooden Spoon (lowest ranked player)
• Best painted team (Prize goes to the painter (not owner) who must be present)
Since it is Hemelvaartsdag (Ascension day), there is a special price for sending opponents to heaven/hell: Special price for most Fatalities (All fatalities inflicted in any way (fouling, surfing, blocking, tackling,…)
