Ruleset Document

Information
We are running a one day tournament based on the ruleset for the upcoming NAF World Cup Dornbirn 2019 #nafwc2019. This is a perfect opportunity for those who are going to get some practice in and for those who are missing out to have a taste of this fun ruleset.

World Cup Rules/Differences

The World Cup rules are here. (Click "Info" and then "Rules")
http://www.nafworldcup.sbbm-turniere.com/

Important note: There are a few key differences

1) For the WC each has an initial "day one" roster and additional skills are added on days two and three. For the One Day World Cup you will play one MATCH (rather than one day) at each level instead. Don't forget to add your skills between rounds!

2) This is an individual (not a squad) tournament. This means that.
- you do not have a squad
- scoring will be as per the "Single Player" section of the WC rules

3) Unlike the actual WC we are not providing skill markers (and we don't need to know base sizes) or dice so please bring your own!

General Rules Clarifications

The Illegal Procedure will not be enforced. There is a time limit for games, so coaches are encouraged to play 4 minute turns to ensure games are completed. On previous occasions we have had we have had to have a certain amount of flexibility to accommodate the serving of food but we will update you with that on the day and give notice of revised timings/upcoming ends of rounds.
Any games that reach the time limit will have to be halted and the result at this point will be the final result of that game. We do have a chess clock available should one be required for fair time allocation.
Each player on your roster must be represented by an appropriate painted miniature. You do not need to have miniatures for coaching staff but of course may do so if you wish.

Game timings will be as follows:

10:45 to 11:00 Registration
11:00 to 13:15 Game One
13:15 to 13:45 Lunch
13:45 to 16:00 Game Two
16:00 to 16:15 Break
16:15 to 18:30 Game Three
18:30 to 19:00 Awards and close

Additional Venue Information

The venue has ample free parking, and food is available to purchase on site.

Entry costs and payment

Entry is £12.50 per coach, and all coaches need to be NAF registered as this is a ranked event.

Please send payments by paypal to events@wybbl.org.uk. Could you select the 'gift' or 'paying a friend' option so we don't lose out on fees please?

Due to previous issues, we will not be offering refunds, however will do everything we can to help you sell your ticket on to another coach should the need arise.

Rosters and Submission Deadline
