Tiebreakers:
Difference between TDs and Casualties done and received (TDs Done + CAS Done - TDs suffered - CAS suffered).
As a last resort, the tied players will do a D6 roll.
Team building:
You have 1,100,000 gold pieces to build your team (including inducements but excluding additional skills). Each team receives additional gold according to their tier. That gold may be spent on additional skills, players or inducements, but the cost of the additional skills must never be more than the additional gold.
A team can include any player, team good or inducement included in the official NAF document or any Spike with the following rules:
0-1 Star players (the team must also include at least 11 players from the regular roster, and no more than 16 players including star players).
Inducements allowed: Apothecary, Cheerleaders, Fan Factor, Assistant Coaches, Bloodweiser Babes, Bribes (50k for Goblins, 100k for all other teams), Halfling Chef (100k for Halflings, 300k for all other teams).
Any amount not spent from the initial 1100k does not carry over to the additional gold, and is lost. Each team receives additional gold according to their tier. That gold may be spent on additional skills, players or inducements.
Additional gold:
This is the only gold that may be used to buy additional skills, although it may also be used for players, star players or inducements.

Additional skills are chosen before the tournament and are constant through all the rounds. The rules for additional skills are:
Star players can’t receive any additional skills.
Normal skills cost 20,000 gold pieces.
Double skills cost 30,000 gold pieces.
No stat upgrades allowed.
Maximum one player in each team can stack an additional skill, the second of the stacked skill costs 30k, both skills have to be normal skills
Maximum one player in each team from ter 1-3 can have one double skill
Maximum two players in each team from ter 4-6 can have one double skill
The Skill "Piling On" will be used according to Death Zone 1, i.e. Team Re-Roll is required to use. |
