What to Bring
• Painted team with suitable models.
• Skill rings or another appropriate way to identify skills/positions
• Block dice
• D6s, d8, d12/16/20
• 3 copies of your team roster including skill purchases and inducements

Tournament Rules:
• Argue the call (coach model unnecessary), Timber are allowed. Pile On will not require a reroll and will be available as per the original CRP document.
• Players must agree on cocked die rules, the use of dice cups and/or sharing dice at the start of the match.
• If there are any disagreements or rules disputes, tournament directors will be standing by to assist.
• HORATIO THE CHICKEN - If the weather is rolled as being “nice”, Horatio escapes the coup and has decided to take the field. He is a particularly vicious rooster which will peck the life out of anything! Place him on the Trap Door spot of the receiver’s end of the field before they set up. If - at the beginning of your turn but before any player actions - your opponent is in possession of the ball, you must direct Horatio by moving him as per the ball and chain rule. He must be moved the entire extent of his MA score with no “go for it” rolls allowed. If neither team is in possession of the ball when a turn marker gets moved, Horatio is happy to just pick at the ground and not move. He will not assist blocks, but is counted as an opponent in all cases where an agility roll needs to be made, including dodges.

HORATIO MA3/ST1/AG3/AV5 Ball&Chain, Dodge, Stunty, Stab, No Hands
If anyone blocks Horatio and causes a casualty, they get 5 bonus points. He DOES NOT automatically recover from KO.

• At the beginning of the game, each coach puts their chicken cards into a stack and one is drawn for each coach. They may use this card as a special play card. The cards are as follows:
1. Reposition the chicken token to start somewhere other than the trap door.
2. Give Horatio “The Right Stuff” skill - he is now able to be thrown by any player of strength 3 or more.
3. Add or subtract 1 from the Ball and Chain d6 roll for a turn.
4. If Horatio is in the KO box, you can put a reserve player into the KO box.
5. Horatio give you the benefit of “Fan Favorite” for the drive and you may add/subtract one from the kickoff table if you roll “changing weather”.
6. If Horatio does not breach the armour of a player with a stab, you may reroll but subtract 3 from the causality table if successful.
7. If your opponent hits horatio, but doesn’t get him off the pitch, horatio may make a free stab.
8. LEAP – leap in a random d8 direction 2 squares.

Rules Not In Effect
• No wizards, referees, special play cards, special weather tables (except for the Horatio rule), or special balls.
• There is no special pitch rules, sponsorships, or infamous coaching staff.

If you are unable to finish within the given time frame, the referee may stop the game prematurely. A referee’s decision is final in all cases.
