Tournament Rules Pack
Tournament Cost: $15.00 for existing NAF coaches and $20 for non-NAF coaches (sign up for NAF and get FREE Gift).
ALL ENTRY FEES will be gift to Veronica & Ben as part of the Blood Bowl Baby Shower. All Raffle Proceeds will also be donated.
Three Round Schedule: 2.5 Hour Rounds to accommodate relaxed play and eating/drinking while you play and in between rounds.

What to Bring:
1) Your painted Blood Bowl team-- Feel free to bring any team from any designer. The team must have its players marked clearly.
The models you use MUST represent the position being played. Teams do NOT have to be fully painted.
2) 2 copies of your team roster-- one for use during the game and one for your opponents
3) Your Blood Bowl Blocking Dice, templates, assorted bits, board, dugouts, etc.
What You Get:
1) 3 Rounds of Blood Bowl
2) This will be a VOODOO Tournament of 2021 so earn those points!!!
3) All coaches will receive a set of commemorative tournament dice, a special Squig Ball and a shot at the BOGLIN CUP and raffle tickets.
Tournament will be a Swiss style, resurrection tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game.
Each round will see a coach play against a random opponent. In each subsequent round, the highest ranked player plays the next highest ranked player they have not previously played.
The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play.
Rules:
We will be using the NEW BLOOD BOWL: Second Season Rules
There will be no extra time allotted beyond the 2.5 hours so if your match is moving slowly, use the 4 minute timer or let your Tournament Organizer know.
Boglin bowl will be using SQUIG BALLS
The Squig Ball follow the usual Blood Bowl Rules except where contradicted below:
1. If the Squig Ball is on the Ground: At the beginning of each Team’s turn, before anyone takes an action, the Squig Ball on the ground will move d6 squares in a random Direction. The Squig Ball does not need to dodge to move through tackle zones.
2. If the Squig Ball is held by a player: At the beginning of that Team’s Turn (not the opposing teams turn), before anyone takes an action, roll a d6 (this CAN be re-rolled), On a roll of 1, the Squig has
squirmed free and will move as above starting from the players square. This does not cause a Turn Over.
3. If the Ball Squig’s movement carries it into a players square: the Squig ball will not throw a block, but instead bounce from the new players square and then end it’s movement where it lands.
4. If the Squig Ball’s movement carries it into the crowd: They will throw it back as usual. It will bounce and then end it’s movement where it lands (regardless of any surplus MA).
5. The Squig Ball is Hard to handle: All GFI Rolls (while holding the ball) and agility based actions involving the ball suffer a –1 penalty. This includes Pick Up, Catch, Pass, and Intercept.
TEAM CREATION:
You will have 1,300,000gold to build your team. You can use the money however you see fit to buy players, skills and team goods.
Only teams listed in the Core Rules, Teams of Legend PDF, NAF Sanctioned teams for 2020 rules and any GW Online Official Releases will be allowed.
Teams will be built to not exceed the above values, including all skills, upgrades, players, inducements and team goods.
Star Players may be induced after the team has 11 rostered players, and only Star Players listed in the 2020 Rule Book and Spike 11 maybe taken.
All skills will be purchased as selected skills (no random skills for cheaper), stat upgrades are allowed. No player may have more than 2 upgrades, you cannot take the same skill more than twice and you are only allowed 2 stat upgrades (sorry, no stat upgrades on big guys).
