THREE KINGDOMS CHALLENGE: SATURDAY NIGHT SEVENS
TOURNAMENT COST:
• If you are already participating in TKC: free
• If you want to play only this tournament: $10 for existing NAF coaches and $15 for non-NAF coaches (sign up for NAF and get FREE Gift).
TOURNAMENT RULES:
• Official Sevens NAF ruleset (https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Blood-Bowl-Sevens-2019.pdf).
• BB2020/Second Season Rules will apply aside from Sevens-specific rules (2020 Kickoff Table will apply, only change is D3+3 becomes D3+1).
• Resurrection format
• The weather is rolled by the TO at the beginning of each round (weather can then change during the game because of Kickoff events)
TEAM CREATION:
• Teams may be purchased using 600,000 GC.
• Star Players, (In)famous Coaching Staff, Special Play Cards and Extra Training are removed from the inducements list.
• Wandering Apothecaries, Babes, Igor, Bribes, Mercenaries, Chefs and other inducements are all allowed as normal.
• Teams may be selected from any of the 27 Official Games Workshop teams and the 2 additional NAF recommended teams (Slann and Daemons of Khorne).
• In Sevens, a team may not have fewer than 7 or more than 11 players on the roster. A team will only field 7 players at a time.
• Only 0-4 “specialist” players (meaning any player whose availability is less than 0-12) may be selected.
• In addition, a team can take 0-1 player with the Stunty trait.
For example, a Human team can take 1 Halfling in addition of the 4 specialists.
• Teams in Sevens are not very well-trained or reliable. Team re-rolls cost double their listed cost.
For example, a re-roll for a Human team would cost 100,000 GC.
SKILLS:
• Each team is allowed to give some players additional skills within the restrictions below.
• Each team chooses 1 player to be the Team Captain - they gain the Leader skill. Only players without the Loner trait are eligible to be Team Captain.
• Teams will have a number of additional skills based on the Team Tier ratings:
o Tier 1: 1 skill, must be a primary
o Tier 2: 2 skills, up to 1 of which may be a secondary.
o Tier 3: 3 skills, up to 2 of which may be a secondary.
• No player can be given more than 1 additional skill (this includes the Team Captain, who already has the Leader skill).
• No skill can be given more than once.
For example, it is not allowed to give Mighty Blow to 2 Black Orcs.
THREE KINGDOMS POTIONS:
• When submitting his or her Team Roster, each Coach must indicate which of the following Kingdoms his or her team is supporting:
o Kingdom of Strength
o Kingdom of Agility
o Kingdom of Mutation
• Once per game, when a player is being KO’d or having a casualty roll made against him, his coach can decide to give him a potion.
• The player is immediately patched up and can enter the pitch at the beginning of his team’s next turn, in one of the squares adjacent to the side lines, between the 2 LoS. The player can’t be placed adjacent to an opponent player.
• In addition, the player gains the following additional trait and skill until the end of the drive, depending of his Kingdom of allegiance:
o Potion of Strength: Unchanneled Fury + Random Strength skill
o Potion of Agility: Bonehead + Random Agility Skill
o Potion of Mutation: Very Stupid + Random Mutation Skill
• If the player already has the trait, apply a -1 modifier on the dice roll for this trait.
• Random skills are rolled with 2D6 as described on p74 of the rule book. If the player already has the skill, reroll the 2D6.
• At the end of the drive, the effect of the potion ends, and the player will join the KO or casualty box, as originally rolled. An apothecary or regeneration can be used at this time, and KO recovery rolls are made.
