A current NAF membership is required, Lair Ashmead is the NAF contact to set this up. If done in person at the tournament, it will cost $5.

Tournament Schedule
The tournament will be a 1-day, 3 game Swiss-style, resurrection tournament. First games will be determined by random matchup. The remaining games will be determined based on tournament points.
For the first round only, we will do our best to pair players off against members that are outside of their home club. The tournament will run 5 total matches. 3 on day 1 and 2 on day 2.

August 29th, 2021

12:00 pm – Lunch Break; Painting Judging
12:30 pm – Second Game

5:30 pm – Day 1 Ends; Awards and Conclusion

Tournament Tracking
we will be using Tourplay.net. You will need to submit your roster to the Tourplay.net site. You will need to log your matches on a smart phone.

What to Bring
• Painted team with suitable models.
• Skill rings or another appropriate way to identify skills/positions
• Block dice
• D6s, d8, d12/16/20
• 3 copies of your team roster including skill purchases and inducements
• COVID-19 Protection, masks, hand sanitizer, dice trays/cups. Safety First please.


Tournament Rules:
Standard NAF Rules 2020 – All teams are available to play, including the teams of Legend PDF (including Slann)

At the beginning of each round, one player of your choice rolls a random mutation from the rule book. They keep that mutation for the entire match, but return to normal after the match concludes.

Rules Not Allowed
We will not be using the Deathzone supplement.
No Wizards
No Referees
No Mercenaries
No Special Play Cards
No Special Weather tables
No Special Balls
No Infamous Coaches
No Sporting Giants

- Teams will resurrect at the end of each round. No SPPs, injuries or any roster changes carry over between games

- Illegal Procedure and the 4-minute time limit will not be enforced.

- Games will have a maximum length of 2 hours 30 minutes. Turn time limits or chess clocks may be imposed if a game is at risk of going over the 2.5 hour time limit. When Time is called the dice are down and the match is over. There will be no OT.

- Players must agree on cocked die rules, the use of dice cups at the start of the match. NO dice sharing will be allowed.

- If there are any disagreements or rules disputes, tournament directors will be standing by to assist.

- Teams with the ability to raise killed players will not be allowed to. Players must agree on cocked die rules, the use of dice cups and/or sharing dice at the start of the match.


Team Building
• Teams get 1.1 million gold to construct their roster.
• Teams must purchase a minimum of 11 players.
• Star players are allowed to be if you have already purchased eleven players. A maximum of ONE star player may be taken. (Brick Farth and Grotty count as a single star player, but will fill two roster spots as per rules, The Swift Twins would be the same).
• The stars players allowed are from the official Blood Bowl 2020 Rulebook and the Spike 11 supplement.
• Star players are not “highlander” and may be present and used on both coaches’ rosters.
• Teams can purchase rerolls, bribes, regular apothecaries (if allowed), assistant coaches, cheerleaders or dedicated fans. Ogre and Snotling teams can induce Riotous Rookies and Halflings are the only team who can induce the halfling chef. No other inducements may be purchased (including wizards, cards, extra apothecaries, mercenaries, etc).

Skill Packages
• Tier 1
4 normal skills. No skill can be chosen more than twice, no skill stacking.
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Imperial Nobility, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead and Wood Elf.

• Tier 2
5 normal skills. No skill can be chosen more than twice, no skill stacking
Black Orc, Chaos Renegades, Chaos Pact, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Nurgle, Pro Elf, Slann, Khorne.

• Tier 3
6 total skills, up to two can be secondary skills. Skills can be chosen more than twice, one player can stack two skills.
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling, Underworld and Vampire.

The following awards will be available. Only one performance award can be earned per player.

Most Touchdowns “Three Mile Island Award” – Most Touchdowns
Most Casualties “Radiation Poisoning Award” – Most Casualties Inflected
Rookie “Tainted Meat Award” – Best Showing by a New NAF member (if applicable)
Best Painted “Red Dawn Award” – Voted by the community as the best presentation.
Wooden Spoon ”Built to Spec” – Fewest overall Points.

In the case of a tie, tie breakers are in the following order:
- Head-to-Head record if applicable
- Winning percentage (wins divided by total games times one hundred)
- TD difference (TD scored - TD against)
- CAS difference (Cas inflicted - Cas received)

Swag and Prizes
Every dollar collected will be given back to the players in the form of raffle prizes and trophies. The more people that register, the bigger the prize budget!
