THE Basics
Rules as per the BB2020 Death Zone book pages 90-97.
Teams may be selected from any race allowed by the NAF.
Star players and Mercenaries are not allowed. Halfling Master chef is allowed at 100,000 for Halflings (300,000 for everyone else). No cards allowed. All other inducements are unchanged.
Entry fee is $5 for prize support. Entry fee is payable via e-transfer to stephenrossjarrett@gmail.com or in person.
Cheerleaders and Assistant Coaches may be hired as normal but coaches may not buy Dedicated Fans (the teams here today just aren’t that well known… yet).
The first round will be drawn at random with subsequent rounds being seeded.
Rosters are due minimum of 48 hours in advance of the tournament. You also must indicate if you are bringing a 7s pitch. All to be sent to stephenrossjarrett@gmail.com.
Team Building
Teams are purchased using only 600,000 gold crowns and may not have more than 11 players on the roster. Reminder that sevens teams are not very well trained or reliable. Team rerolls cost double their listed cost. For example, a human team reroll would cost 100,000 gold crowns.
Tiers are as per the BB2020 rulebook.
Tier 1: 2 random primaries or 1 chosen primary.
Tier 2: 3 random primaries or 1 random primary and 1 chosen primary.
Tier 3: 4 random primaries or secondaries. Alternatively, 2 chosen primaries or 2 random primaries and 1 chosen primary.
Who gets the skills is chosen before the tournament but random skills are to be rolled in front of the opponent each game. No more than 1 skill per player. If you choose skills they must be selected before the tournament. The ‘Leader’ skill is banned. You may not pick Leader and if someone rolls Leader it is re-rolled.

Too Much EggNog:
Uncle Bryce brought some extra special Eggnog to the celebrations. Some of the players have been very liberal with its application to their muzzles and the coach has noticed. During a break in play he may look to take advantage of the situation. All teams gain a “Bottle of Heady Brew” (page 39 Death Zone) (Tier 3 teams get 2). The rules are the same as the bottle in Death Zone with the following exceptions: Non-stunty players may be given the bottle. Only Lineman are eligible for the brew. Roll randomly for all the lineman on the pitch to see which one gets it. Rule to read now as follows:
At the start of a drive, after both teams have been set up but before the kick-off randomly select 1 lineman player on the pitch. For the remainder of the drive, that player gains the Dauntless, Frenzy and Really Stupid (4+) trait.
PASS THE BALL!:
No special rules are in play for passing. However, the crowds are shouting for the teams to pass the ball. There will be a prize for the most passes completed! If there is a tie for most passes, most passed attempted is the tiebreaker.
