Grandfather Nurgle hates most things but loves his gruesome garden full of squirming maggoty worms and buzzing clouds of flies and the vigorous growth of strange flora from the swelling earth. There will be special rules used from the NURGLE Blood Bowl pitch for this event.
Registration will be $20.00 with costs going towards Tournament Swag, Trophies and Prizes.
Round One will be RANDOM with the following rounds using SWISS pairings

11:30am-1:30pm - Round 1
1:30pm-2:30pm - LUNCH
2:30pm-4:30pm - Round 2

TEAM BUILDING: We will be using TOURPLAY to BUILD your ROSTER: 1,200,000 gold crowns for your roster + a pool of 60 SPP for skills (picked and random)
*Rosters – Since we will be using Tourplay to manage all of the match information, you will need to sign up for a Tourplay acct. I recommend that you use GMAIL to do so. Once you sign up, a REGISTRATION link will be provided in order to get your NEWLY CREATED team registered for the event. Once your team is complete, you can print off at least 2 copies of your roster for the event (one for you and one for your opponent).
• Resurrection Style Blood Bowl Event - All Rosters Reset After Each Round
• No player may have more than two Skills
• No skill may be taken more than four times
• Only ONE Star Player can be induced per team
• Infamous Coaching Staff, Biased Ref and Wizards are allowed as Inducements
• The Highlander rule will WILL BE in effect
SPECIAL RULES:
*Weather will be the SPRING WEATHER TABLE found on pg.76 in the Death Zone Supplement
*Illegal Procedure - In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called
*Time – Each round will be 2 hours long to and it is also recommended that the 4 minute timer be used if coaches are falling behind
*Dice - You SHOULD NOT share dice with your opponent. Any dice are allowed for this event and you DO NOT have to use the Tournament Dice.
*Nurgle's Hibernating Garden - If, during the first half, a player on either team is removed as a casualty for any reason, maggoty worms and daemonic plants awaken and burst from the loamy earth with IMMEDIATE effects; millions of maggots erupt from the earth covering the ball making it more difficult to pick up the ball, all pick up attempts are at -1. Footing has become more treacherous with maggots and daemonic plants appearing around the players feet tripping them up. If any player attempts to move seven or more squares, roll a d6 for each square past the sixth, On a roll of 1, the player falls over in the square they were moving to as if they had failed a RUSH. If a changing weather result is rolled, treat this as an extra random scatter.
*Nurgle Giveth and Nurgle Taketh Away - Only until the end of the drive, if you kill another player, they are now a Rotter Lineman under your control and you immediately take control of them on the pitch (even if this puts you over 11 players). Stats will become 5/3/4/6/9. A successful REGEN roll or APOTH used will prevent this from happening. At the end of the drive, players that were converted to Rotter Lineman will go to the RED BOX.
TOURNAMENT POINTS:
30 WIN, 15 DRAW, 5 LOSS, -5 CONCESSION
Bonus Points: +3 Points for Pitch Clear
*TIE BREAKERS: TD Differential followed by CAS Differential |
