Information
Boards and dugouts will be provided for use throughout the tournament. You need to bring your painted team, dice and rosters.

There is no restriction on what miniatures you use in your team as long as they are miniatures (not proxies) and are painted and clearly identifiable.

Teams from the Season 2 rules, Spike 11 and after and the Teams of Legend PDF are allowed.

Rosters are purchased with a treasury 1,150,000 gold crowns. All inducements listed in the
Blood Bowl 2020 rulebook are permitted except Mercenaries, Special Play Cards, and Team
Wizards. As per the 2020 rules in tournament games you do not receive the 1 free Dedicated Fans.

In addition to the starting skills on your roster all teams will have additional skills that they can add to their roster.

Tier 1 teams:
Each coach can choose 4 primary skills and 1 secondary skill to add to their roster.
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf

Tier 2 teams:
Each coach can choose 5 primary skills and 1 secondary skill to add to their roster.
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Slann, Tomb Kings, Vampires

Tier 3 teams:
Each coach can choose 6 primary skills and 1 secondary skill to add to their roster. In addition Tier 3 teams may take 0-1 Star Players, and only after rostering 11 regular players. Eligible Star Players are those in Blood Bowl: Second Season - The Official Rules and released in Spike! issue 11 onwards.
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotlings

These skills are all allocated at the start of the tournament so they remain relevant for all matches. The secondary skill can be swapped to a primary skill if you wish. You can have a maximum of 2 skills of the same type on your roster. You may only select one additional skill per player. Statistic improvements and random skills cannot be selected.

The Round 1 matches will be randomly drawn. In subsequent rounds, players will be ranked by points total and paired off e.g. 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, etc. Where players are tied on points they will be drawn against a random opponent who (where possible) has the same number of points. You will not be drawn against an opponent you have played in a previous round.

Scoring

The scoring system will be 30 points for a win, 15 points for a draw and zero points for a loss. Bonus points will be awarded for each casualty caused (including casualties caused via foul or crowd surf) and touchdowns scored, to a maximum of 3 points for each.
