3Vs3 Team Tournament

PRICE: 25€ Each Coach (so 75€ for the team)


RULESET
Please note: the following ruleset may be subject to changes but none will be enacted after
June 1st, in order to guarantee a degree of proper preparation and planning.
This edition of the tournament will adopt the team format.
Teams will have to include THREE coaches, who will have to bring different races from those
available according to the BB2020 ruleset, including legendary teams (Vampires, Chaos
Dwarves et cetera). No further limitations are present regarding race choice.
The tournament will take place in two days, with a 3+3 round format. During each round a team
will be paired with another through the following system:
Round 1: random pairings.
Round 2-6: Swiss among teams and "internal" Swiss among single coaches (that is, the best
coach of each team will face his counterpart and so on).
At the end of the six rounds, the team with the most points will be considered the winner of the
competition. In case of a tie, tiebreakers (see below) will be applied.
Team building
Each coach will have a total of 1.100.000 gold pieces to build his/her team. This gold may be
spent on players, rerolls, staff, Star Players, dedicated fans or any allowed inducements. Any
leftover money will be considered lost, and no additional inducements will be granted as a result
of TV difference at the beginning of each match.
Each coach's team will have to include no less than 11 players and no more than 16. Star
Players can only be included after the initial 11 players.
Allowed inducements are: Halfling Master Chef (0-1), Bloodweiser Kegs (0-2), Bribes (0-3),
Riotous Rookies and Star Players (see below).
Skill pack
Each coach will be granted an extra sum of money to buy skills, in two rounds: one for the first
day and one for the second, according to their team's tier.
Two skills can be "stacked" on one player and one player only. In case of stacking, the chosen
skills can only be primaries, and cannot be selected randomly. Skills can be stacked at no
additional cost beyond the regular cost of each skill. The two stacked skills can be assigned in
two different days (one on day 1 and the second on day 2).

Money can be used to buy primary skills, secondary skills or random skills. Should a coach
choose to buy a random skill, it will have do be determined through a dice roll at the beginning
of each game.

Star Players
Coaches that choose races belonging to tiers from 2 to 5 may include Star Players in their
roster, using the starting 1.100.000 gold pieces to pay for them: additionally, the first Star Player
added to the team will subtract 80k from the amount of money to be spent on skills on day 1. A
second Star Player will subtract a further 80k from the skill money pool. For instance, should a
Chaos coach want to add a Star Player, he will only be able to spend 20k (100 - 80) on skills on
day 1. Should an Halfling coach want two Star Players, he'll have 0k on day 1 and 20k (180 -
160) on day 2.
Scoring system
Each team match will be awarded 500-200-0 points (W/D/L), and each coach will be awarded 5-
2-0 points. For instance, a team that wins all three matches will be awarded 515 points, one loss
and two draws will net the team 404 points and three draws 206 points.
Tiebreakers
Tiebreakers will be, in descending order;
- Result of direct competition (if teams are tied)
- K factor (Net TD 3 + Net Cas 2)
- Net TD
- Total TD
- Total Cas
- Opponent Score
- Random
Special Rules
"We do not want blood, we want... DEATH!"
Players that are Cas'ed with a 15-16 result (Dead) cannot roll for regeneration or have the
team's apothecary used to reroll their Cas result. In Florence, dead means DEAD.
At the end of the tournament, the coach that has killed the highest number of opposing players
will be awarded a special prize called "I Cicciaio".
