Information
Welcome to the rules pack for the Glass Cup Plate Bowl II hosted by the Gloucester Open Blood Bowl League (GoBBL) and Atlas Tabletop Gaming. (Change in venue from last years tourney)

We are running a resurrection Blood Bowl tournaments consisting of a three round swiss style tournament (the 1st round will be a random draw made before the day). All injuries and deaths, will be cleared after every game.
The tournament will be limited to 24 coaches. If you would like to reserve a spot please email me, see above

The shop will also be open serving snacks and drinks as well as a range of tabletop games. For lunch there is local shops and fast food restaurants within walking distance.

Payment: £15 per entrant. You can join the NAF on the day for an additional fee.

Tournament rules
* We will be using the Blood Bowl Second Season rules (Blood Bowl 2020)
* No Special Play cards allowed.
* All teams in the BB2020 rule book, plus the new Khorne and Norse rosters as well as the ones included in the ‘Teams of Legend’ PDF are allowed (apart from the old Norse and Khorne Rosters)
* No inducements allowed with the exception of Star Players, Bribes, Riotous Rookies and Master Chef as detailed below.

Please email me your NAF name, NAF number and chosen race to t.w.brockington@gmail.com by Friday 3 June
- No need to submit your rosters, please bring a printed copy to show your 1st round opponent to check over.


Team Creation
All teams get 1,150,000 cash to spend on players, rerolls, coaches, cheerleaders, apothecaries
In addition the following rules apply:
* Tier 1 and 2 teams can purchase 1 Star Player once they have rostered a minimum of 11 normal players.
* Tier 3 teams can purchase 2 Star Player once they have rostered a minimum of 11 normal players
* Superstar tax: Morg, Griff and Hakflem refuse to play with any teams that have additional skills, they only will play with rookies. If you roster any of the big 3 stars you get no skill pack (see section below)
* Halfling teams may include a Master Chef for 100,000.
* Goblin, Black Orc and Snotling teams may include up to 3 bribes for 50,000 each.
* Ogres and Snotling teams can buy ‘Riotous Rookies’ but the ‘Disposable’ skill has no affect

After buying the team, you can allocate skills to your players using the following rules
Limitation to skills:
- No more than two skills added to a player
- No more than 3 of the same skills
Skills- Tier (1)
You choose a skill package of 4 primary skills or 2 primary and 1 secondary
Skills- Tier (2)
You choose a skill package of 6 primary skills or 4 primary and 1 secondary
Skills- Tier (3)
You choose a skill package of 7 primary skills or 4 primary and 2 secondary
* Star Players may not be given additional skills.

Match ups and Rankings
The first matchups will be drawn randomly before the tournament, each coach will be paired with another coach based on the overall ranking according to the swiss ladder system for the rest of the games. The ranking of coaches for the next round and subsequently for the overall standings will be determined in the following order:
- Coach Points*
- Head to head performance
- Net Touchdowns plus Net Casualties
- Strength of Schedule
*Coach points are calculated by adding up the following scores from your results
- 30 points for a win
- 10 points for a tie
- 0 points for a loss
+1 point for each touchdown scored (capped at a maximum of 3 bonus points)
+1 point per casualty (capped at a maximum of 3 bonus points)

Awards
The winner of the following will be given an award
- The overall tournament winner will be the GoBBL champion
- The coach who finishes second will be given the Runner up award
- The coach who causes the most Casualties to the opponents players will be the Most Brutal
- The coach who scores the most Touchdowns will be the Highest scorer
- The highest placed coach playing a Tier 3 team will be the Stunty cup champion (as long as we have 2 stunty coaches)
- The highest placed coach who has played 2 tournaments or less will be the Best Newcomer

What you must bring
- Models representing their team and players. The players must be numbered clearly. Each player
must be painted with atleast 3 colours
- Block Dice, d8 and 2d6s
- A Blood Bowl Pitch

What each participant receives
- 3 games of Blood Bowl
- A set of custom dice
- A chance to win one of the six award
