Dungeonbowl: Pinata Slaughta
The colleges of magic are feeling festive and want to make their drab and dark dungeons a little more colorful for the upcoming dungeon bowl event. After taking inventory of what they had laying around the campus... There's always a ton of paper in the form of old tomes, scrolls, journals, and bad fan-fiction. Plus, library paste a-plenty. A gross miscalculation by the acquisitions department led to an exaggerated order of robe dyes used to distinguish the different schools of magic. Luckily, there is also an endless supply of free labor in the form of students who need internship hours.
Paper, glue, dye, and free magical labor sounds like the perfect recipe for Pinatas! Every first year student knows the cheaper the material the easier it is to enchant the construct, but the more unstable it is when damaged! With a team of unpaid interns, the colleges were able to churn out a small army of magically animated pinatas for what would become known as the Pinata Slaughta!
SCHEDULE: Round One of Dungeon Bowl will begin at 1pm and each round will be 60 minutes
WHAT YOU NEED:
+ A Dungeon Bowl team with each position easily identified
+ 2 copies of your roster (one for you and one for your opponent)
+ A copy of the Dungeon Bowl Box Set (if you have one)
+ Dice: You MUST use the D6’s you received as swag in each of your games. You may use your own block dice provided they are from GW or NAF
THE RULES & TEAM BUILD:
+ Coaches will draft Dungeonbowl teams using the most current rule set from GW with a 1.1 million budget.
+ No Stars per Dungeonbowl rules!
+ Rerolls are 50k each and College specific Wizards are 100k
+ After drafting their roster coaches will have 18 SPP to add skills to their players.
SCORING:
Scoring a touchdown will award 15 points with a bonus point for each casualty.
Special Rules: Pinatas have replaced the chests in this dungeon. One pinata contains the ball while the other five contain bombs, break them open by breaking their armor! Treat the pinata as a player with MA- ST1 AG- PA- AV7+ with stunty and titchy. Pinata don't get a turn of their own, so while they have tackle zones, they will never get an opportunity to make a block or stand back up after being knocked down. If a player makes a block on a pinata they MUST FOLLOW UP. Any time the pinata's armor is broken, instead of rolling for injury, remove the pinata and treat it as though a standard dungeon bowl chest had been opened. If the player who broke the pinata's armor is still standing, and they are adjacent to the last known square the pinata occupied, and that pinata contained the ball, the player automatically picks the ball up and ends their action. If the pinata had a bomb, all players adjacent to the last known square occupied by the pinata are knocked down and an armor roll made as usual; this is a turnover.
If a coach manages to push a pinata all the way to their opponent's endzone without breaking it, they will have scored a touchdown whether the pinata contained the ball or not. If the pinata DID contain the ball, this will instead count as TWO touchdowns! (This will be nearly impossible)
Tie breakers will be Casualty differential and then number of pinata smashed. |
