It's the 8th edition of the Four Nations Cup! To be held at Pub Randolph, 408 Rue Notre-Dame, Repentigny, QC J6A 2T1, on September 24 and 25.
Here are the rules for this NAF sanctionned tourney:
- Five games of Blood Bowl, using BB2020 rules (including the latest NAF May rules review), Swiss style, on two days (3 on Saturday; 2 on Sunday) and fun to remember all your life!
- Painted teams strongly encouraged (though no points for painting them... but who wants to play grey elves anyway?)
30$ NAF members / 25$ early registration
Food and beverage on site. **NO OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE** This is a pub venue.
TEAM CREATION:
- 110 Starting TV, minimum of 11 players; Star players & Apo allowed (Star Players not allowed in first 11 players);
- Then, you get to choose skills according to tiers:
* Tier A - 6 skills (no secondary) Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Orcs, Undead, Wood Elves;
* Tier B - 6 skills (up to one secondary) Amazons, Dwarves, Elf Union, High Elves, Imperial Nobility, Necromatic Horrors, Norses, Old World Alliance, Skavens, Underworld;
* Tier C - 8 skills (up to two secondaries) Black Orcs, Chaos, Chaos Pact, Humans, Khorne, Nurgle, Slann, Tomb Kings, Vampires
* Tier D - 8 skills (up to four secondaries) Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings
- No ability (MA, ST, AG, AV) upgrade allowed at team creation;
- ***** IMPORTANT: No more than 2 extra skills per player at team creation, no more than 3 per players during tourney;
- ***** IMPORTANT 2: No more than twice the same added skill on your whole roster (if you got two extra Mighty Blows, you can never get a 3rd one);
- ***** IMPORTANT 3: For every Star Player hired, you remove two extra skills;
- ***** IMPORTANT 4: If you hire Deeproot Strongbranch, Griff Oberwald, Hafklem Skuttlespike, Morg ‘n’ Thorg ou Wilhelm Chaney, you must reduce the number of skills by 4.
**** IMPORTANT 5: It is strongly recommended to use a digital roster sheet that allows to quickly calculate starting TV. Two of those (but not the only ones) can be found here (https://bit.ly/3yDC4Kf) and here (https://bit.ly/3NGFz7b).
In any case, we ask that you come in with a created roster, not to write one before tourney starts (Thanks Manu!).
- This a resurrection tourney;
- Positively no overtime;
FOUR NATIONS CUP SPECIAL RULES:
- Popol le Bleu, estranged wizard of the Four Nations League, is mad and wants to disturb the league's tourney, so he'll be available to each team for a single use throughout the tourney (meaning: everybody gets one use of a Hireling Sports-Wizard, as on p.94 of the BB2020 Official Rules Book;
- After each game, each coach selects a player on his team, then rolls 2d6. On a double, he can select a secondary skill. On any other roll, he gets to select a regular skill.

How much will it cost?
It will cost you 30 $ for the tourney, but...
EARLY ENTRY RAFFLE!!!!!
If you register and pay by September 17, 11:59 PM, you'll pay only 25$ and get a chance to win a spanking new team, to be determined later;
If you submit your team using ANY electronic team tracker by Sept. 23, 11:59 pm, you get a second ticket for the raffle AND can win a second prize to be determined later (most probably team dice).

Pub Randolph serves food and their kitchen will be open both days. I'm also told they sell something called beer. I might try that...
